The "israeli" occupation committed 2 massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in 16 martyrs and 64 injuries reaching hospitals in the past 24 hours.

A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams.

🚨 Paramedic Hamdan Annaba ascended to martyrdom inside zionist prisons.

Hamdan was abducted by zionist forces on December 2nd 2023 while on duty with another paramedic during a mission to evacuate wounded from Gaza. Since that point, he was abducted, tortured, and no one knew anything about him.

Family sources confirmed that Hamdan was executed on the same day of his arrest, amid the occupation's silence. He is one of dozens who have ascended to martyrdom in zionist prisons due to torture since October 7th, 2023.

The family has called for an urgent investigation and for the follow-up of Hamdan's case, as he was part of the medical team providing humanitarian services to save the wounded.

In a continuation of its aggression on Syrian territories, "israeli" occupation forces launched a blatant air attack on Sunday evening, September 8, 2024, from the northwest of Lebanon, targeting several areas. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of 16 people and the injury of 36 others, 6 of whom are in critical condition. It also caused material damage in some residential areas.

The persistence of the "israeli" occupation in its attacks on Syrian territories and other countries in the region, and its ongoing brutal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, committing the most heinous massacres and acts of genocide against Palestinians, indicates the frantic drive of this bloody fascist entity towards further escalation in the region, pushing it towards dangerous slides with severe and unforeseeable consequences.

As the academic year begins in the West Bank and Al-Quds, but not in the Gaza Strip: The occupation’s aggression against Palestinian education is a zionist crime that will not succeed in breaking our people's will, erasing their identity, or suppressing their national rights.

This school year begins amid an ongoing and escalating genocidal war carried out by the zionist occupation across all of our occupied lands for over eleven months, depriving more than 630,000 students of their right to education since October 7, 2023. Around 48,000 students were supposed to attend this new school year, and nearly 39,000 students were unable to sit for their secondary school exams. This zionist crime is a deliberate violation of all legitimate rights guaranteed by international charters and laws, placing the international community and the United Nations before a legal and humanitarian responsibility to put an end to these zionist crimes against education and educational institutions in Palestine and to enable our people to exercise their legitimate right to education on their land.

As the academic year begins in the West Bank and Al-Quds without the Gaza Strip, we in the Hamas movement affirm the following:

1- The occupation's war against schools, educators, and educational institutions in both the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Al-Quds will not succeed in altering the consciousness of future generations, erasing the Palestinian identity, or severing their connection to the land, sanctities, and their right to freedom and return.

2- These vile plans by the occupation and its fascist government will be met by the Palestinian people with increased unity and steadfastness, ensuring the achievement of our national goals and our right to freedom, independence, education, and a dignified life.

3- We proudly remember all the martyrs among students, teachers, and professors, as well as all martyrs of our people who have fallen due to zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, occupied Al-Quds, refugee camps, and in exile. We honor their pure souls and pray to Allah for the swift recovery of the wounded.

4- We commend all the efforts and sacrifices made by teachers and students in confronting the zionist enemy's plans to undermine their steadfastness and break their will.
