Misyaf Massacre is a War Crime for which the "israeli" Occupation Must Be Punished.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) condemned, in a statement today, the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in Masyaf city last night, which led to the martyrs and injuries of dozens of civilians and caused fires to public properties and citizens' businesses.

The Democratic Front stated that the Masyaf massacre is indeed a war crime for which the "israeli" occupation must be held accountable, first for its attack on the sovereignty of an independent state, the Syrian Arab Republic, and second for targeting unarmed civilian citizens, and third for targeting civil interests such as forests, orchards, and private farms.

The Democratic Front added that the occupation state dares to violate Syrian sovereignty only because of the blatant American support it receives and the international community's silence over the occupation’s crimes and fascist actions.

The Democratic Front called for the broadest condemnation of the Masyaf crime, including referring it to the UN Security Council and the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The Democratic Front offered condolences to the Syrian state, the families of the martyrs, and all the Syrian people, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, reaffirming the solidarity of the Palestinian people with Syria in the united battle against the fascist "israeli" occupation and its criminal project.

The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip has sent a strong message of dissatisfaction with the unobjective media coverage by Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels regarding the genocide war in Gaza. The office expressed its deep dissatisfaction with the coverage of the genocide war's consequences, analyses, terminology, and accompanying materials on both TV channels, whether on-screen or through their social media platforms. Even the way the news is edited and presented, including the body language of the anchors, is unobjective and unfair, and does not reflect Arab media that is supposed to support the oppression of the Palestinian people. It also does not reflect independent media but is biased towards the "israeli" occupation narrative, and often shows malice towards Palestinians, which is rejected and unacceptable from a channel that wears an "Arab" guise.

In a letter sent to the two channels' management in July, the office stated: "Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath are shockingly biased towards the 'israeli' occupation's criminal narrative, which has killed 38,983 martyrs of our great Palestinian people and injured 89,727, up until the time of this letter."

The office expressed in the message its hope that "the two channels will reassess their editorial policy and media coverage regarding the Palestinian cause and the genocide war in the Gaza Strip, in such a way that the channel would be biased toward the Palestinian cause and the oppression of our Palestinian people, who are struggling for freedom, liberation, and freedom from the 'israeli' occupation that takes control of Palestinian lands, as all international organizations and international law have affirmed that the Palestinian lands are under occupation and that this occupation must end."

The office added in its letter: "If the channel cannot side with the Palestinian truth, it should at least refrain from adopting the narrative of the 'israeli' army in such an offensive manner."

Today, the Government Media Office once again expresses its astonishment at the sharp decline in the media standards of Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath, siding with the "israeli" occupation narrative against the story of the Palestinian people, who are facing genocide without these channels taking any responsible stance against the brutal crimes of the occupation. Instead, their editorial policies have shown shocking support for the occupation's policies against the Palestinian people.

The Government Media Office had previously directed reviews to the channels Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath regarding their editorial policies and the publication of media materials and dangerous analyses that affect the Palestinian cause, which were posted by the channel on the "X" platform, where the channel showed its support for the assassination operations carried out by the occupation against Palestinian leaders. We forced the channel to delete the tweet from the "X" platform at that time.

And since the two channels did not respond to our call for adherence to media professionalism, we today again call on Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath channels to reassess their policy that is shockingly and strangely biased toward the narrative of the "Israeli" occupation. We also demand from them not to stand by our Arab Palestinian people, but rather to stand by truth, objectivity, and professionalism only. Moreover, we warn the sons of our Arab and Islamic nation about the policy of the two channels and to be cautious while watching their broadcasts, as they adopt the "Israeli" occupation narrative and continue in a blatantly strange manner to pursue an editorial policy that does not reflect objectivity, Arab identity, or professionalism whatsoever. They publish false news and fabricated stories promoted by the occupation and its cowardly army, and these two channels have helped in spreading these lies and rumors among Arab and Islamic peoples.

In light of the current circumstances and the ongoing war for 11 months, and with the health system being targeted and unable to fulfill its assigned role, the hospital is almost going out of service every time the occupation prevents the fuel supplies, which are supposed to enter the Indonesian Hospital and hospitals in northern Gaza, knowing that the hospital provides the only intensive care service in northern Gaza, in addition to most of the surgical departments, the operations department, and the oxygen generation station, which is considered a lifeline for the patients.

First: The Indonesian Hospital is threatened with being shut down due to the severe shortage of fuel.

Second: The repeated refusal and stubbornness to allow the entry of fuel designated for hospitals threatens to stop surgeries and the intensive care unit from functioning.

Third: The failure to supply fuel threatens patients' lives and puts them at real risk of death.

The new academic year 2024/2025 begins in the governorates of the homeland, while more than 650,000 students in the Gaza Strip continue to be deprived of attending their schools for the second consecutive year. This coincides with the ongoing "israeli" occupation’s brutal war on Gaza, which by the end of August 2024, had led to the martyrdom of more than 11,500 Palestinian children of school age, in addition to tens of thousands of children being injured, suffering physical disabilities, and psychological trauma. Over 750 education sector employees have also been martyred, and thousands more have been injured. The occupation has deliberately targeted dozens of school and administrative buildings, causing 92% of them to be rendered out of service. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, in its latest report, mentioned that in the past month alone, the occupation targeted 16 school buildings, leading to their destruction and the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of displaced persons.

The Ministry, viewing the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the education sector with great seriousness, and the deprivation of hundreds of thousands of children of their right to a safe education, calls on the United Nations, governments, international organizations, and institutions to urgently intervene to protect children in the Gaza Strip from the sadism of this occupier, its thirst for their blood, and its continued denial of their right to safety, protection, and education. At the very least, given the ongoing aggression and the unclear prospects for a ceasefire, there should be an immediate intervention by all parties to provide safe educational and recreational spaces for children across the Gaza Strip, and to pressure the occupation to allow the entry of essential educational materials during emergency times, such as temporary classrooms and their accessories, stationery, and educational materials and tools.

The Ministry affirms that it is working with all partners, within the available resources, to activate several educational and pedagogical options and alternatives. These include the implementation of various educational, recreational, and psychological support activities inside and outside the shelters.

In light of the ongoing refusal of the occupation to allow sufficient amounts of fuel to enter for health service providers in Gaza and its northern areas.

The services of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society are facing the risk of complete shutdown in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates due to the end of fuel reserves needed to operate ambulances, emergency medical clinics, and relief services. The society's teams in both governorates have been suffering from a severe shortage of fuel supplies for about three weeks, and are currently operating at minimal capacity. This situation poses a significant obstacle to the teams' ability to provide their services and deepens the humanitarian and health disaster affecting the Gaza and North Gaza governorates.

The halt in fuel supplies will lead to the complete cessation of the society's ambulance operations, preventing them from responding amidst the repeated targeting of civilians, as well as the shutdown of medical clinics that serve thousands of citizens.
