The widespread outbreak of infectious diseases among Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's prisons, accompanied by the decision of the prison administration in "Ramon" and "Nafha" prisons to prevent lawyers from visiting the prisoners, is yet another testament to the catastrophic conditions in which the prisoners live. This comes as part of the ongoing series of abuses against them, depriving them of even the most basic human rights guaranteed by all laws and conventions.

The prisoners are subjected to torture, denial of visits, deprivation of food, water, and sleep, deliberate medical neglect, isolation, and suppression—leading to the martyrdom of several prisoners. This clearly indicates that the occupation government is pursuing a policy of deliberate killing against them, a policy that cannot be tolerated, and the occupation must bear the consequences of its crimes.

We call upon international organizations and human rights groups to fulfill their responsibilities regarding the suffering of our prisoners in the occupation's prisons, especially in light of the provisions of the Geneva Convention regarding prisoners of war.

We urge our Palestinian people to escalate the movement in support of the prisoners. We have no option but confrontation to force the occupation to stop its ongoing crimes and violations against our heroic prisoners.

🟢 Highlights from the speech of Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, member of the political bureau of Hamas and head of its negotiating delegation, regarding the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations (1/2):

The series of evasions and deceptive maneuvers that Netanyahu is employing to avoid reaching a ceasefire agreement have become entirely exposed to the mediators, the U.S. administration, the global public opinion, and even the "israeli" public.

We affirm that any agreement must include a comprehensive halt to the aggression against our Palestinian people, a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, including the Philadelphia Corridor, freedom for displaced persons to return, relief for our people, and the reconstruction of what the occupation has destroyed, ultimately leading to the achievement of a serious and genuine prisoner exchange deal.

We reaffirm our commitment to what was agreed upon after President Biden’s announcement at the end of May and U.N. Security Council Resolution 2735, which the movement approved on July 2nd.

We do not need new proposals, and any suggestions from any party must primarily focus on compelling Netanyahu and his fascist government to implement what has already been agreed upon, rather than returning to square one or revolving in the same empty cycle that Netanyahu desires.

The world has reached a clear understanding of the reasons for the disruption of the negotiation process and who is obstructing the agreement, continuously creating excuses to thwart efforts to reach a deal. This was confirmed by President Biden himself two days ago when he stated that “Netanyahu is not doing enough to finalize the deal.”

The position of the U.S. President on Netanyahu, although timid and late, clearly identifies the issue and points to the responsibility of the extremist fascist zionist government for the stalemate in this process.

It has become evident that Netanyahu and his fascist government are the main and only obstructers of the prisoner exchange negotiations, and that their policy of military escalation to forcefully release the prisoners has proven a failure, leading to the loss of more prisoners' lives at the hands of their army.

If the U.S. administration and President Biden truly want to achieve a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange deal, they must abandon their blind bias towards the zionist occupation, apply real pressure on Netanyahu and his government, and compel them to abide by what has already been agreed upon.

We state clearly that the objective is not to introduce new formulas and proposals, nor to spin around in an empty cycle, nor to return to square one. What is needed is to build on all the efforts made, implement what has been agreed upon, and carry out what was mentioned in Biden’s speech and the Security Council resolution, which the movement approved on 2/7.

We warn against falling into the trap set by Netanyahu or being dragged into his games, new conditions, and demands, which aim to prolong the war and evade the obligation to reach an agreement.

Netanyahu’s folly and his continued evasion and stalling in reaching an agreement have led to the killing of more of his captives in the Gaza Strip.

The movement's leadership has begun to communicate with mediators and several regional and international countries to clarify the movement’s position and the current state of negotiations, as well as the intransigence, evasion, and obstruction from Netanyahu and the terrorist occupation government.

🚨 IOF vehicles and artillery are bombing a number of areas south of Gaza City in the northern #Gaza Strip, including south and southeast of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood near the Doula junction, the Sabra neighborhood near the Islamic Complex, and northwest of Nusseirat camp.
