We condemn the convening of the UN Security Council today at the request of the zionist entity, and with the support of the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, to discuss the issue of zionist prisoners and detainees held by the resistance, while the zionist genocide war against Gaza continues, and thousands of prisoners from our people are being held under conditions of abuse, torture, and severe hardship.

This meeting represents a bias towards the zionist entity and its false narrative, while turning a deaf ear to the demands of the international public opinion to stop the zionist war against innocent civilians in Gaza.

The UN Security Council must take the necessary steps to compel the zionist entity to stop the genocide war in Gaza, especially in light of the latest decision regarding the war, instead of aligning with the desires of Netanyahu's extremist government, which disregards all international decisions and institutions.

We affirm that solely Netanyahu is responsible for the killing of the zionist prisoners, as he deliberately seeks their deaths to avoid the obligations of a deal to free them and to maintain his grip on power with his criminal gang.

🟢 Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan to Palestine Today (1/2):

Until this moment, the mediators have not presented anything new regarding the negotiations so far, despite all attempts of the American administration to project a positive image.

The American administration is concerned about the elections and the voting outcome in favor of the Biden administration. They are trying to create a positive atmosphere to win over voters who refuse to vote unless the American administration makes a decision regarding Gaza that stops the bloodshed.

In the context of the negotiations, we informed all the mediators, as well as regional and international parties, that we do not see the need for new papers, new ideas, or new initiatives. We do not need new initiatives; the resistance had previously agreed on what was presented on July 2nd.

Any attempt to suggest there are new ideas or papers is merely a time-buying tactic that benefits Netanyahu and his Nazi government in killing the Palestinian people and spilling more blood, and it will just bring us back to the same cycle again. We are not interested in going through the same cycle once, twice, or thrice. Therefore, if there is any initiative, I say it must be to pressure Netanyahu to comply with the terms of the proposal that the mediators presented.

I say clearly: We warn the Biden administration against thinking it can win the elections through more Palestinian bloodshed, and that Kamala Harris’ ticket can be soaked in Palestinian blood under the pretext of presenting ideas that bridge the gap between what the enemy wants and what the mediators propose every time.

Netanyahu is negotiating while the entity itself is divided, and the resistance, with all its factions, is negotiating from the same positions and is united. This is our strength.

The American administration's move to talk about new ideas raises a significant and important question about the seriousness, capability, and even the willingness of the American administration to put real pressure on Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire. If the American administration is not serious, capable, or willing to do that, then why should we accept new ideas? Why should the resistance accept new ideas from an administration that is incapable?

I believe that no matter how stubborn Netanyahu is, as long as the resistance holds onto its demands and continues its actions on the ground that truly exhaust the occupation army, pushing them to scream, along with their military leadership—and we have seen the army's stance regarding the Philadelphia Axis, which has no military value and can be withdrawn from—and with the internal environment within the entity protesting against Netanyahu's behavior, I believe this could push Netanyahu to retreat.

I also add here that the killing of six captives held by the resistance was a clear message that all "israeli" army attempts to recover these prisoners will fail, and they will likely be killed by "israeli" soldiers, as happened in Nusseirat, for example.

The "israelis" succeeded in retrieving four of the captives, but they killed three who were in the same place. Today, there are six dead captives as a result of a new attempt. Perhaps this is the most important message that moved the "israeli" street massively against Netanyahu. This is why we say that we want to stop the fire and end the aggression and spare the blood of our people, but, certainly, neither we nor our people will raise the flag of surrender as Netanyahu wants.

Undoubtedly, the resistance media, with all its tools and methods, plays a very important and decisive role in this battle. I believe that the resistance media is what firmly established the resistance's narrative. Even the war, in which the occupation tried to present itself as a victim being attacked, the resistance media solidified the true narrative that what the resistance is doing is a reaction to the occupation and aggression. The resistance media has established the real image of the fighters, with their high ethics, humanitarian values, and care for the prisoners, while simultaneously showing their ferocity in confronting the enemy.

This media is now conveying a clear message that despite eleven months of fighting, the resistance leadership still possesses complete control, direction, and management on the ground. They decide what to do and execute it with precision, and their messages are based on that. They are capable not only of sending political and media messages but also of sending messages on the battlefield.

We have seen how the "israelis" began to suffer losses in areas where they thought they could position themselves and remain safe. Therefore, I believe that the resistance media has played a decisive role in stirring the street in the zionist entity because the resistance’s message, through its military media, was clear: these captives could have been with their families and loved ones had Netanyahu agreed to the deal for a ceasefire, withdrawal, and exchange. Those who remain in captivity could become victims of Netanyahu's stubbornness.

After 11 months of battle, Netanyahu now realizes that he has not been able to break the will of our people, despite the massacres.

This was a significant success for the resistance media, especially its military media.

The mediators, after seven months, have made efforts to get both sides to accept the conditions and attempt to show flexibility in the proposals.

I hope those concerned understand this message, that today, the resistance, while negotiating, is not coming from a position of weakness, nor from a position of concession or retreat, or a feeling that the battle has ended. Rather, it is negotiating from a position of strength, managing the battle to achieve specific Palestinian goals, the outcome of which, Allah willing, will be the liberation and the restoration of Palestinian rights, along with the establishment of a fully sovereign, independent state on its entire national soil.
