In this sacred moment, we remember our martyr leader Maysara Masharqa, who emerged after 8 years of imprisonment with an iron will and unwavering determination. He had set his heart on Jihad, achieving great feats in the field of combat and explosives, rejecting all the temptations offered to him to turn away from the path of Jihad and resistance, including money, ranks, and privileges. He chose to trade with Allah with complete sincerity and conviction, with the words in his heart:

"Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment."
