The final statement of martyred PIJ spokesperson Tariq Izz El-Din was regarding the martyrdom of Sheikh Khader Adnan. He said:

"Whenever a leader ascends, ten will emerge to replace them. When a martyr ascends, 100 martyrs will emerge to replace them. The march continues, and it does not stop until the defeat of the occupation."

Today as Abu Shujaa ascends to martyrdom, we remember the eternal words of Tariq Izz El-Din. Martyr after martyr, and the struggle continues.

In a previous interview, the martyr commander Abu Shujaa stated:

"The Tulkarem Brigade was established after the martyrdom of our commanders Saif Abu Libdeh and Amir Abu Khadijah. We cannot forget the great leader Tariq Izz El-Din, who had a significant role in the West Bank and was the biggest supporter, especially for Tulkarem Brigade."

Glory to the martyrs.

🟑 Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - Nour Shams Camp - Martyr Mu'tasim Al-Ali Group:
β€”
"So let those fight in the cause of Allah who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. And he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward.”

On behalf of the fighters of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades in all their military formations, we salute the resilience, pride, and patience of our families, loved ones, and brothers in the steadfast and defiant Nour Shams camp, and the steadfastness of our people in all neighborhoods and alleys of this camp, towering like the mountains. Our brave brigades, in all their military formations, send greetings to all fighters from all factions participating in confronting this incursion and bless this legendary steadfastness that has torn apart the side of the zionist entity, shattered with strength and determination the occupation's superiority, and restored to the nation the pride of dignity and readiness for resilience, defiance, and resistance. This has decisively ended, once and for all, the options of weakness and surrender.

We, in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Nour Shams Camp - Martyr Mu'tasim Al-Ali Group, announce that one of our units lured a zionist force of occupation soldiers in the Al-Damij neighborhood into a pre-prepared minefield, resulting in confirmed injuries to the force. Our fighters also engaged from point-blank range at several locations on the Al-Damij and "Al-Malakh" axis with blessed bursts of live fire. Additionally, the special unit of our victorious brigades targeted sniper positions at Jabal Al-Nasr and attacked the interrogation center established by the occupation forces in the Bal'awi warehouse.

We also declare that all our fighters are well, the resistance remains strong, and we have much more in our arsenal.

We in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - Nour Shams Camp call on everyone in the provinces, towns, and camps of the homeland to stand with their brothers, the people of Nour Shams Camp, and we urge the free to firmly stand by the fighters and support them. We also call on all the resistance fighters to unite against this usurping occupier, for unity is strength, and division is weakness and disgrace. We affirm that the choice of resistance is the only legitimate option to uproot this oppressive occupation.

Revolution until victory... until victory... until victory.
Mercy and immortality to those who are more honorable than all of us.
Curses and disgrace to the traitors and collaborators.

Naji Survives.
As we reach the end of August, we commemorate the martyrdom of Naji Al-Ali, who ascended at age 48 on the 29th of this month, most fitting for a Palestinian icon.

One could say that Naji was martyred because he was bold, defiant, and courageous. All of that is true, for he unapologetically spoke the truth. However, what scared the enemy the most about Naji was how he proved that art and ideas can hurt just as much as weapons and perhaps even more.

What we understand through Naji is that to achieve liberation, every one of us has a duty to rise and resist.

Naji was an artist, but he didn't just draw.
Ghassan Kanafani was a writer, but he didn't just write.
Nizar Banat was an intellectual, but he didn't just educate.
We resist, perhaps in teaching, perhaps in learning, drawing, reading or writing.

Naji was martyred because his stance, translated through his drawings, was unwavering. He was martyred because his art incited people to think, to feel, creating what Ghassan Kanafani called a cultural form of resistance that "nurtures armed resistance, embracing and guaranteeing the continuation of its course."
❀39❀‍πŸ”₯7πŸ’”7
Naji was discovered by Ghassan Kanafani in Ain Al-Hilweh, both artists with a shared vision of cultural and armed resistance. While those who carry the rifle carry the biggest burden, we must echo the sound of their bullets into the real world, in all what we do, to transform into real action.

"There is no hope, a single glimmer of hope, except when an 'israeli' is shot. You see? I am saying a clear speech. Who did the operation? We don't know. Sometimes they tell you Amal movement, Abu Nidal's people, Abu Musa's people etc.. We don't care. But for me as a Palestinian citizen, or an Arab citizen, or a human living in this region and enduring in it, I see that this is the path."

No words can possibly do justice to the contribution to the cause that he has made. What is certain is his legacy to this day inspires and lives on until liberation.

Naji through Handala is one of the main symbols of how words said, art drawn, and stories written can be carved in the hearts and minds of those fighting for liberation, materializing into various forms of resistance, striking and striking with a conscience until freedom.

Naji was martyred. What they don't realize and perhaps never will, is that Naji, the martyr, was undoubtedly the sole survivor on the day of his martyrdom. They should fear martyrs, far more when they are martyred than when they are alive. For their martyrdom only ignites revolution.

And so, until Handala unclasps his hands. Until he turns around and faces us. Until he smiles. Until he can finally start growing up, on the land of Palestine, having been 10 for 75 long years now. We will continue to uphold the thawabet Naji fearlessly dedicated his art to.

Until liberation and return. We continue to resist. Glory to Palestine's living conscience. Naji survives.

I am committed to Palestine.
Naji Al-Ali: the creator of the immortal Handala. With his pen as his weapon, he was the voice of the downtrodden. Opposing imperialism and settlement, his drawings spoke to the revolution, the true revolution, of the camps and the masses, not that of the charlatans and engineers of Oslo that killed him.

"I am accused of being biased, and it is an accusation I do not deny. I am biased in favor of those who are 'below.'"

"No to the silencer!" Naji was loud in his stance against political silencing. Naji called to free them all. He called for liberation. He called out backstabbing Arab regimes and elites. He honored our martyrs. Naji reminds us, "Palestine is not far. Nor is it near. It is within reach of the revolution."

He is Palestine's unwavering conscience. His commitment to the cause continues to inspire the rising unity in the homeland and diaspora. For this, he received 100 death threats, from enemies and "allies" alike, from vague threats to threatening to cut off his fingers that forged his art. "You must correct your attitude," a senior PLO member told Naji.

Four weeks later in 1987, he was shot by masked PLO gunmen outside the Al-Qabas newspaper offices in London, betrayed by the orchestrators of Oslo. Shot in the eye, he fell into a coma, his enemies thinking that blinding him would blind his immortal vision for global justice.

Naji ascended as a martyr on August 29th. His legacy, like his art, lives forever. Naji, meaning survivor, never died.
