He ascended as a martyr yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, 23 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to August 28, 2024, during his clash with zionist enemy forces that besieged him along with a number of fighters in a house in the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

As Al-Qassam Brigades announces the martyrdom of its heroic fighter, it salutes all the fighters of the West Bank who are sacrificing everything they have and showing extraordinary bravery in defending our people and fighting for their freedom and dignity, the most recent martyr being commander Mohammed Jaber "Abu Shujaa" and his fellow martyrs in Tulkarem camp.

In this context, the Brigades affirm that the blood of these righteous martyrs will serve as a beacon for thousands of young people eager to join the ranks of resistance and jihad in the Bank of Ayyash and throughout our occupied homeland. We pledge to Allah, then to our people and all the free people, to remain steadfast in the path of jihad, struggle, and resistance until victory and liberation.

Who ascended to the highest ranks today, Thursday, 24th Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to August 29, 2024, during his resistance against the barbaric zionist aggression in the heroic and sacrificial governorate of Jenin while clashing with zionist enemy soldiers.

We announce to our people that our martyr commander, Ahmad Turkman, carried out several heroic missions and operations. For the first time, we reveal that our commander Ahmad executed a heroic operation in the zionist “Etzion” military camp north of Al-Khalil, which resulted in the injury of many enemy soldiers and the outbreak of fires near this occupation camp on June 28th of last year.

As Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades mourns its martyr and commander in the heroic, resistant, and sacrificial Jenin, "Ahmad Hussein Turkman," it extends condolences and pride to the comrades of the martyr and the sons of the resistance in the occupied West Bank, with all its formations, factions, and military arms, for the martyrdom of commander Ahmad Turkman. We salute their steadfastness, bravery, and courage in confronting the brutal aggression against our people, cities, villages, and valiant camps.

As we bid farewell to commander Ahmad Turkman, the leader of Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades in Jenin governorate, we affirm that commander Ahmad Turkman was a model of sacrifice and dedication in defense of his people and cause, and he was an example of a courageous and heroic leader who did not retreat until he achieved what he wished for.

In the face of the genocidal war and crimes committed by the zionist enemy and its terrified army against our people, which has spread to the occupied West Bank, targeting the very existence of our people and cause, the pure blood of martyrs shed in Gaza and the West Bank compels us to be united and cohesive in the trench of resistance, facing and engaging openly with the zionist enemy.

Khaled Barakat, a member of the Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, confirmed that the Palestinian Authority and some of its security services are “involved in the Zionist-US crimes being committed in the refugee camps and cities of the occupied West Bank, and in the siege and ongoing war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip.”

Barakat once again emphasized the position of the Masar in a series of political seminars and media interviews with Palestinian, Arab and international media outlets, accusing “the so-called Palestinian leadership in Ramallah" of involvement in "political crimes that reached the level of national treason, conspiracy against the resistance and stabbing it in the back,” stressing that these are “serious and documented crimes that will not be subject to any statute of limitations, and the day will come when the Palestinian people will put them on trial, no matter how long it takes.”

Barakat considered the "security coordination" apparatus, which works directly with the Zionist regime and imperialist powers like the United States, in the Palestinian Authority to be “a battalion of agents affiliated with the occupation and a security and economic tool attached to American, European and Saudi directions and an integral part of the official Arab regimes, divided between the helpless and the complicit.”

Barakat called for “isolating the authority and boycotting it publicly at all levels,” considering that “the armed Palestinian resistance is the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people and not any other party.”
