The Resistance in the Occupied West Bank: The Wrath of the Righteous and the Revenge of the Free

Since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, resistance operations in the West Bank have been escalating continuously, expanding in scope and increasing in intensity and sophistication. Whenever the enemy believes it is on the verge of containing or eliminating it, the resistance and Al-Qassam cells surprise them with something new.

The resistance formations have been inflicting severe losses and damage on the enemy, both in terms of personnel and equipment, despite the difficult and complex circumstances in which they operate. This includes the relentless pursuit by the zionist security and intelligence forces, not to mention the dubious role played by the authority's apparatus there.

A Renewed Pledge
Like in every other part of occupied Palestine, the resistance fighters in the West Bank confronted the enemy with every available means. Stones were the first to counter the enemy army's brutality, followed by the lions of Hamas who sparked the knife intifada, cutting down the cursed zionists. Then, their pistols targeted the heads of soldiers and settlers, and they introduced vehicle-ramming attacks into service, followed by our fighters raining bullets on zionist settlers and their vehicles, culminating in the horror of martyrdom operations and explosive devices.

The West Bank has always been, and continues to be, a fire that burns the occupation army and the herds of settlers. The fighters of Al-Qassam played a significant role in shattering the skulls of the enemy soldiers and settlers there. After the martyr Sahr Tamam opened the path for martyrdom operations there, he was followed by a large army of martyrdom-seekers who brought death and horor to the enemy throughout the occupied interior and every inch of Palestine with their explosive belts and devices.

Following this path, the fighters of Al-Qassam and the resistance in the occupied West Bank continue the glorious legacy of their predecessors. They have inflicted death on the enemy in various forms, targeting their soldiers and vehicles with barrages of bullets, explosive devices, and well-planned ambushes. The cities and camps of the occupied West Bank have become a blazing battlefield that burns the enemy's Nazi soldiers and criminal settlers, utilizing new military tactics and more effective and impactful weapons.

The West Bank Flood

Since the outbreak of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, the West Bank has offered 669 martyrs and continues to offer more. A number of Al-Qassam fighters have risen while carrying out qualitative operations and resisting the repeated incursions into cities and camps there. Our fighters have caused significant casualties among soldiers and settlers, killing and wounding dozens, and they have revived the legacy of Ayyash and the elite engineers of the Brigades after the recent martyrdom operation in the heart of "Tel Aviv."

In recent weeks, the occupied West Bank has witnessed the martyrdom of a group of its loyal sons and noble lions during their jihadist operations and while resisting zionist incursions. Among them were three fighters from the youth of Islam who were liberated in the exchange deal between the enemy and the resistance in November 2023. They are the martyr field commander Tareq Ziad Dawoud from Qalqilya, the martyr mujahid Wael Bilal Mahsha from Balata camp, and the martyr fighter Jibril Ghassan Jibril from Qalqilya.

In the same context, military sources and statistical data confirm that shooting operations in the West Bank have doubled in 2023 compared to previous years. The enemy recorded about 50 shooting incidents in 2021, while in 2023, 350 shooting incidents were recorded. The resistance fighters carried out 687 shooting and armed clash operations in the West Bank from the beginning of this year until August 2, 2024.

Today, the enemy and its followers are deluding themselves into believing that they can extinguish the resistance in the cities and camps of the occupied West Bank. They do not realize that beneath the West Bank lies a flood that will drown the dreams of the zionist enemy and the agents of security coordination in their miserable dreams, and our fighters will inscribe the most magnificent epics of heroism and sacrifice.

The usurping zionist entity continues its campaign of terror, killing and destroying everything connected to the Palestinian cause without deterrence. In response, our people fulfill their duty to defend themselves, their land, and their rights, represented by their valiant resistance, which continues to write epic stories of heroism. Accordingly, we affirm the following:

First: We announce that we have moved to the second phase of our defensive and combat operations in the Battle of the Horror of the Camps. This phase focuses on properly utilizing the land, rebuilding capacities, setting up ambushes, and detonating explosive devices in a series of specialized operations that we will detail below.

Second: Our forces in the Brigades of the West Bank have achieved a series of major military operations during this second phase, which have shifted the course of the battle. Notably, the ambushes of death in Jenin and Tulkarem, culminating in our fighters successfully ambushing a group of occupation soldiers in a complex operation in Manshiya of the brave. This was a direct response to the assassination of the Tulkarem Brigade commander, Commander Abu Shujaa, resulting in the injury and killing of several zionist soldiers in full view of our people, who witnessed the evacuation operations.

Third: As usual, the zionist enemy has employed terror tactics against our people in the West Bank cities as part of a collective punishment policy, aiming to prevent them from rejecting life under occupation. They have burned homes, destroyed much infrastructure, and engaged in various acts of sabotage.

Fourth: These rounds of battle will only increase our determination and resolve to continue defending our blessed land, expelling the occupation, and fighting them everywhere on the soil of our homeland. They also strengthen the collective spirit in combat, unity in our ranks, and the crushing of the enemy. Look at their dead, their wounded, and their destroyed vehicles during this battle, which will now only produce steadfast men and fierce fighters from our camps.

Fifth: Rest assured that we are in excellent condition, and your resistance is steadfast and unyielding, unbreakable by the army of cowards. The illusion that the enemy spreads, thinking that it can put an end to this pure journey, is a clear indication of its foolishness and ignorance of what is happening and what has been prepared for it on the ground today, tomorrow, and beyond. We will all witness what we mean, and in due time, the days will tell of the good news they carry.

He ascended as a martyr yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, 23 Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to August 28, 2024, during his clash with zionist enemy forces that besieged him along with a number of fighters in a house in the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

As Al-Qassam Brigades announces the martyrdom of its heroic fighter, it salutes all the fighters of the West Bank who are sacrificing everything they have and showing extraordinary bravery in defending our people and fighting for their freedom and dignity, the most recent martyr being commander Mohammed Jaber "Abu Shujaa" and his fellow martyrs in Tulkarem camp.

In this context, the Brigades affirm that the blood of these righteous martyrs will serve as a beacon for thousands of young people eager to join the ranks of resistance and jihad in the Bank of Ayyash and throughout our occupied homeland. We pledge to Allah, then to our people and all the free people, to remain steadfast in the path of jihad, struggle, and resistance until victory and liberation.
