Hezbollah extends its congratulations and blessings to all the Lebanese on the seventh anniversary of the Second Liberation, the date of Lebanon's victory, its people, army, and resistance over the armed takfiri groups and their expulsion from the borders of the homeland. The anniversary of the Second Liberation, where the blood of martyrs from the resistant South mingled with the blood of martyrs from the dear Bekaa, and where the golden equation of defending Lebanon was solidified on the battlefield and in the arenas of combat, is a historic occasion. It is a time to revive the concept of true national unity in its most beautiful form and to learn the most profound lessons and teachings in the face of aggression and occupation.

The War of Liberation of the Juroud, fought by the resistance and the Lebanese army in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Army, led to Lebanon's salvation from the terrorism of the takfiri terrorist groups that spread corruption on earth and threatened the security and stability of Lebanon and our region in service of the zionist-American project.

This year's anniversary coincides with the Al-Aqsa Flood and the heroic epic being waged by the resistant and oppressed Palestinian people, who lament the scarcity of supporters and helpers except from the fronts of support that offer the greatest sacrifices in defense and victory for the truth against falsehood and aggression. More than ever, they are determined to continue on this path.

The 28th of August will remain each year a beacon of light, illuminated by the immense sacrifices made by the caravans of Islamic Resistance martyrs in Lebanon, the Lebanese army, the Syrian Arab Army, and the honorable people of the Bekaa, especially the families of the martyrs. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the military operation initiated by the occupation in the occupied West Bank is an extension of the displacement and war of genocide being waged against our people.

This operation by the occupation comes despite all the warnings and demands from the international community and global powers to stop the systematic escalation of the killing campaigns carried out by the occupier in the West Bank. The clear intent for destruction, killing, and displacement of our people highlights the extent of international complicity with zionist war criminals.

The official Arab abandonment has reached the point of partnership in the comprehensive war of genocide that the occupation is waging against our people, at a time when Al-Quds and its Islamic and Christian sanctities are being violated, and the crimes of the occupation are spreading across all the West Bank governorates.

Our people will only confront this brutal aggression with more resistance, and the criminal occupier will pay the price for its crimes. We have no choice but to resist and stand firm in the face of a war that seeks to annihilate our people, erase our existence, and liquidate our cause.

The Palestinian Authority is obligated to fulfill its duties in defending our people, primarily by halting the crime of security coordination, as well as political and security arrests, and by directing its Security Forces to perform their duty in defending our people.

Forming a unified national leadership and national emergency committees at both the local and national levels is necessary to defend the existence of our people against the crimes of settlers and the occupation’s escalation of its aggression. The current state of laxity, waiting, and procrastination cannot continue in light of this situation.
