The Democratic Front considers Ben Gvir's threat to build the temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque as an open call for war against our people in Al-Quds and the West Bank.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine described the incursions of Ben Gvir, who is labeled as the Minister of National Security in the fascist state of "israel," and his threats to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque and build the temple on its ruins, as an open call for total war against our people in occupied Al-Quds and the West Bank.

The Democratic Front stated that Al-Aqsa Mosque goes beyond being a mosque with special significance to our people, Arabs, and Muslims in general. It also serves as one of the most important Palestinian national symbols and one of the defining marks of the national identity of the city of Al-Quds, the capital of the Palestinian state.

The Democratic Front warned Ben Gvir of the dangers of his actions and provocations against our people and their political forces, affirming that our people in Al-Quds and the West Bank, despite the hesitation of the Palestinian Authority and the complicity of some of its parties, will not hesitate to resist by all means and methods against the projects of displacement, settlement, and annexation. Their steadfastness will be no less than the legendary steadfastness of our people in the Gaza Strip.

In the same context, the Democratic Front called on the Arab and Islamic worlds to bear their responsibilities towards the sanctities of Palestine, foremost among them Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that statements of condemnation, denunciation, and protest do not meet the necessities of the battle to defend Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and their central place in the religious consciousness of Muslims.

As the Brigades announce the martyrdom of these heroic fighters, they affirm that the zionist entity’s talk of launching a large-scale military operation in the West Bank will only lead to a new quagmire in which the defeated occupation soldiers will drown on every battlefront.

On the National Day for the Recovery of the Bodies of Martyrs and Martyr Prisoners Held by the Occupation in so-called Numbered Graves and Morgues, and in light of the continuous violations committed by the occupation against our prisoners and martyrs:

The occupation continues its policy of concealing the crimes it commits against prisoners and martyrs, which have intensified since the Al-Aqsa Flood operation. The occupation holds the bodies of hundreds of martyrs and martyr prisoners who died under torture and medical neglect in the occupation's prisons, particularly in the "Sde Teman" camp and other prisons that the enemy has established for the arbitrary detention of thousands of our people.

What has been revealed following the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, regarding the theft of martyrs' bodies after they were buried in Gaza cemeteries, is another crime that cries out to the Arab and Islamic nations, as it constitutes a blatant violation of all divine laws and international laws that emphasize the sanctity of the deceased and respect for their burial. What the occupying entity is doing exceeds all values and norms, in the face of a suspicious and unprecedented international silence.

We in the Islamic Jihad Movement affirm our commitment to this issue, which remains a priority for the movement. On the National Day for the Recovery of the Bodies of Martyrs, we renew our call to international institutions and organizations, including the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to pressure the Israeli occupation to return the bodies of Palestinian prisoners and martyrs that the occupation continues to hide and prevent from being delivered to their families, and to reveal the fate of the missing. We also call for the formation of an international committee to investigate these crimes.

Today marks the anniversary of the eternal and revolutionary leader, comrade martyr Abu Ali Mustafa, the Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine for whom the PFLP's armed wing is named after.

Abu Ali, upon his return to Palestine in 1999 after 32 years in exile stated, "We have returned to resist; on the thawabet, we do not compromise," after having established the PFLP with George Habash. Shortly after, Yasser Arafat met with Bill Clinton to redefine the fundamental Palestinian principles, the thawabet, increasing security coordination with the zionist enemy and conceding Palestinian land.

The betrayal of Oslo and the continued collaboration between the PA, the zionists, and imperialist forces demanded the urgent presence of Abu Ali Mustafa to lead and represent the millions of Palestinians who rejected the PA’s normalization. The masses rejected the acceptance of USAID to buy them off, security coordination with the enemy, and land concessions. He returned to invoke the popular NO of the masses. Abu Ali once stated, "The Palestinian Authority and the occupation cooperate in striking the Palestinian armed struggle."

Abu Ali oversaw some of the PFLP's most effective operations during his leadership, despite his short tenure during the second intifada.

On this day in 2001, two missiles were fired from an IOF Apache helicopter towards his office. The above video links one of Abu Ali's most famous speeches with the poem "Launch" by Basil Bazrawi, dedicated to the PFLP.
