Our fighters ambushed an enemy patrol and, along with other resistance factions, continue to bombard enemy positions with mortars.
Commander Abu Khaled, the spokesperson for Martyr Omar al-Qasim Forces (the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine), issued a military statement confirming that one of the "israeli" enemy's patrols fell into a well-executed ambush by Martyr Omar al-Qasim Forces. Simultaneously, they continued to shell enemy positions with mortars in coordination with other resistance factions. The details are as follows:
1. One of our combat groups, operating in the vicinity of Al-Salam neighborhood east of Rafah, successfully set an ambush for an enemy foot patrol, detonating a large explosive device among them and simultaneously showering them with gunfire, resulting in all members of the enemy patrol being either killed or wounded.
2. Additionally, the artillery unit of Martyr Omar al-Qasim Forces, in collaboration with fighters from Saraya al-Quds (the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine) and fighters from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - Palestine, bombarded enemy positions and supply lines in the "Netzarim" axis with heavy mortars, successfully hitting their targets.

🇮🇶 Sources in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq denied to Al-Akhbar what was announced by an advisor in the Iraqi government that an agreement was reached between Prime Minister Al-Sudani and the factions regarding de-escalation and avoiding targeting US interests.
Although recent operations targeting US bases, including Ain Al-Assad, haven't been directly claimed by the Iraqi factions, they have reaffirmed that it is in their interest, as well as their desire to join Iran and Hezbollah in their response against the zionist entity. Yesterday, Kataeb Hezbollah stated that they have no obligation to stop operations against US bases.
Ali Hussein, a leader in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, also denied the existence of an agreement, stating, "on the contrary, the resistance intends to target as many enemy targets as possible... It is illogical for the Iraqi resistance to leave its Axis partners in Lebanon or Yemen to face the occupier alone. While we respect Al-Sudani's desire for de-escalation and avoiding conflict in the country, our position is firm, and we are on alert for any treacherous American aggression against our forces."
He added, "Iran's delayed response is part of war strategies, playing on the nerves of the enemy, which has begun to erode from within, thanks to the resistance's attacks, particularly from the Palestinians and Hezbollah, with support from Iraq."
Regarding the postponement of negotiations with Washington regarding American withdrawal from Iraq (where the postponement was announced on August 15th), Hussein noted that "they do not concern us, as the Islamic resistance has previously announced and affirmed that there will be no real results from them."
Furthermore, sources in the Iraqi factions told Al-Akhbar a few days ago that Iraq may be one of the expected arena's for Iran's response against the zionist entity. A source stated: "The response does not represent only the Islamic Republic of Iran, but the entire Islamic nation. He met the martyred leader Yasser Arafat and Salah Khalaf during his studies in Egypt, and he participated in founding the Fatah movement alongside the late leader Yasser Arafat and the martyrs Khalil Al-Wazir and Salah Khalaf. He was one of the writers for its magazine "Falastinuna" and a member of the Fatah Central Committee since 1965.
