"Our youth are special." - Martyr Leader Imad Mughniyeh.
At the funeral of 19-year-old Mohammed Ali Hassan Qdouh, a young Hezbollah fighter martyred on the road to Al-Quds, his mother declares: "I offer my son, and the blood of my son, to the eyes of the children of Gaza, the women of Gaza, the men of Gaza, and the blood that falls from every resistor in this world. I am offering, with all satisfaction. And I say more than that. Are you satisfied my Lord? Take until you are satisfied! Until we reach victory and firmness for this nation. Praise be to Allah."
The reporter recalls interviewing Mohammed’s family on Lebanon's Resistance and Liberation Day, remembering how his father was among the first to break the fence in 2000 after the zionists fled under the strikes of the resistance, liberating the south.
At that time, Mohammed sat quietly, listening to a story he had likely heard many times since childhood. He appeared like any other teenager—attending school, making memories with friends, and graduating this year with distinction. On a poster hung in his classroom, he wrote: "One day, I will become what I want to be." His secret was finally revealed on the day of his martyrdom.
Mohammed's uncle, Imad Qdouh, was martyred during the 2006 war, fighting the enemy, paving the path to victory. Mohammed inherited his uncle's features—the eyes, the nose, the smile—and his determination to fight for liberation from an early age.
Reflecting on the 2000 Liberation, Mohammed’s mother adds: "We are the children of the same path and the same victories."

This blood will, certainly once again, pave the way to victory.

"Canadian activists celebrate small victories in the fight against funding Israeli war crimes, as Scotiabank gradually reduces investments in arms manufacturer Elbit Systems and the Jewish National Fund loses its charity status."
"Canadian Press reported on August 14: 'Elbit noted in its most recent results that it had a 12 percent increase in revenue compared with a year earlier as it saw high demand for its products, including ‘material increased demand’ from the Israel Ministry of Defense.'
"But the cost of slipping trust and reputation - crucial for a financial institution - weighed heavier than Elbit’s increased profits. The campaign demanding that Scotiabank stop funding Israeli genocide has reached new popular heights. The combination of a big bank in alliance with an arms company ruthlessly making money by eradicating a whole civilian population in Gaza is not good publicity."
“That’s why we aren’t settling for partial divestments, or keeping our sights on Scotiabank alone. As artists, we reject the lie that arts funding must be entangled with investments in Palestinian death. Our target is any organization enabling the Zionist entity’s occupation of Palestine.”
"Palestine will indeed be free and when that day comes, Palestinians will remember all those who stood with them in their darkest moments; at the same time, they will also remember all those who were complicit in their genocide and betrayed them."

🚨 Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs' Commission:

The specter of hunger haunts the prisoners.
Palestinian prisoners lose thousands of kilograms due to the starvation policy.
The majority of Palestinian prisoners have experienced a very large decrease in their weight over the past ten months, with each losing at least 20 kilograms. The total weight lost by all prisoners combined amounts to thousands of kilograms due to the harsh starvation policy, the effects of which are increasingly visible on the bodies of released prisoners.
In this context, the Authority's lawyers visited several prisoners in various prisons. Among them was prisoner Abdul-Samad Shtayyeh (32 years old) from the village of Salem in Nablus, who is under an administrative detention order for six months. He was arrested at the so-called "Shavei Shomron" checkpoint on 10/3/2024. He is suffering from severe health deterioration, has lost more than 20 kilograms, and was severely beaten during his arrest, leading to a broken jaw, severe infections, and a fractured rib.
Another prisoner, Bajes Barghouti (26 years old) from the town of Kobar in Ramallah, has been detained since 5/3/2024 under an administrative detention order for four months, which was extended for an additional four months. He has also lost more than 20 kilograms and was violently assaulted last June. Like all prisoners, he suffers from poor living, health, and nutritional conditions.
Prisoner Ahmed Jarabeh (33 years old) from the village of Beitin, east of Ramallah, who has been detained since 5/2/2024, has lost more than 20 kilograms due to insufficient and poor-quality food. Although his general health condition is considered good, the weight loss reflects the inhumane conditions imposed on the prisoners since October 7th.
The Authority also reported on the condition of prisoner Mohammad Dar Al-Deek (20 years old) from the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah, who has been detained since 19/2/2024. He lost more than 22 kilograms in the first few months of his detention, especially during his confinement in the "Etzion" Detention Center, under extremely poor living conditions. He suffered from severe food shortages, receiving only one piece of bread daily, and was subjected to multiple attacks, resulting in several bone fractures due to continuous violence. He has been under administrative detention for six months, with an additional six months extended.
The Commission calls on the international community and human rights organizations to urgently intervene to save the lives of prisoners who are subjected to severe violations inside "israeli" prisons and to ensure their rights to health care and humane treatment in accordance with international law.

Inhumane conditions experienced by female prisoners in Damon Prison.
Continued deterioration of detention conditions for female prisoners in "Damon" Prison, imposed on them as part of the escalation policy that began on October 7th.
Based on a visit by its lawyer to the prison, the prison administration continues to detain the female prisoners in cramped sections with extremely high temperatures and humidity, as reported in testimonies from several prisoners.
The Commission's lawyer reported that prisoner "D.A." from the village of Salem, 20 years old and a student at Al-Najah University in Nablus, suffers from migraines and is not provided with vitamins or iron, which has worsened her medical condition.
She was arrested from her home on 24-7-2024 in the village of Salem, on charges of incitement on Facebook. She was then transferred to "Hasharon Prison" for 5 days, where she endured difficult conditions in a cell with another prisoner without food or bathroom access and was beaten before being moved to "Damon" Prison. There, she is held in Section 3 with 8 other prisoners in the same room, where the humidity and heat are extremely high.
It is noteworthy that the number of female prisoners in "Damon" has reached 84 today, including three prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
