🚨 Section "24" in Ofer prison has been completely evacuated, and a large-scale transfer of administrative detainees to other prisons was carried out, with the transfers still ongoing, according to the Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Commission lawyer who visited the prison last week.
The prisoners reported that they were subjected to beatings and mistreatment several times, with some being attacked during their exit to meet with their lawyer. They all suffer from significant weight loss due to the starvation policy.
The prisoners are being deprived of water, which is available to them for only 45 minutes a day. The electricity is cut off at 10 PM until midday the following day. The food is poor in both quantity and quality, in addition to a series of punishments imposed on them since October 7th, which have only worsened over time.
The lawyer was able to visit Khalil Qandil (28 years old) from Al-Jalazone camp in Ramallah, and three prisoners from Bethlehem put under administrative detention without charge or trial: Fawri Salameh (24 years old) from Al-Azza camp, Fadi Shihadeh (21 years old) from Dheisheh camp, and Baha al-Din Arouj (17 years old) from the town of Janata, who was supposed to take his high school exams last year.

🚨 22-year-old prisoner Mahmoud Al-Haj from the town of Beit Sira, west of #Ramallah, was subjected to a brutal attack by guards and interrogators at the Moscovia Interrogation Center under the pretext that he had hit an interrogator in the face and nose with his head.
According to the lawyer who visited Al-Moscovia at the end of last week, Al-Haj has been under continuous interrogation since his arrest on July 8th regarding the possession of a weapon and involvement in a shooting incident near his town, which he completely denies.
Mahmoud revealed to the lawyer the reason for the recent brutal attack on him, stating, "The interrogator approached my face and started shouting loudly. I moved my head, which accidentally hit his face and nose. As a result, a group of interrogators arrived, took me out of the interrogation room into the corridors, and began beating me and assaulting me with batons on my back. This required my transfer to the prison clinic, and then to a detention room where my legs and arms were shackled to the bed. I was deprived of food, water, and the use of the bathroom for 40 hours. The interrogator whose face was hit by my head also filed a complaint against me."
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission warned of the potential for a crime to be committed against Al-Haj, calling on human rights and humanitarian organizations to apply all forms of pressure to remove him from the Moscovia Interrogation Center and not leave him at the mercy of the guards and interrogators.

After approving a $20 billion arms deal for "israel": Blinken is in the region to cover Netanyahu's intransigence and pressure the resistance to accept "israel's" conditions for a ceasefire.
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is visiting the region as a heavy-handed presence to play his role in pushing through the problematic ceasefire deal. His visit aims to provide political cover for the "israeli" fascist government headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and to urge Arab mediators to exert pressure on the resistance, represented by Hamas, to submit to Netanyahu's conditions. These conditions would sustain the occupation and expand the daily bloody war against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The Democratic Front pointed out that Blinken, just days before his visit to the region, signed off on a new arms deal with the occupying state worth $20 billion as the U.S. Secretary of State. This deal includes 50 F-15 aircraft, 33,000 tank shells valued at $774 million, 50,000 mortar shells, military trucks, as well as radars and "secure" communication equipment.
The Democratic Front added that this arms deal, along with the naval and air mobilization in the Eastern Mediterranean by the U.S. and its NATO allies, comes at a time when the number of Palestinian martyrs in Gaza alone has reached 40,000 since October 7, 2023. This figure does not include the thousands of martyrs whose bodies remain under the rubble, alongside more than 90,000 wounded, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly.
The Democratic Front stated that since Blinken's first visit following the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, his trips to the region have consistently ended with wide-scale "israeli" bloodshed that claims the lives of hundreds of martyrs, disregarding global or local public opinion. This occurs amid disgraceful Arab silence, which has escalated in some Arab capitals to the point of supplying "israel" with weapons, ammunition, vegetables, fruits, and other foodstuffs, reflecting the reality of the alliance between Israel and some Arab states against our people, their cause, and their rights. These facts cannot be concealed by occasional false statements.
The Democratic Front concluded by saying that the American administration's plans, which have turned our people's cause into an electoral card to renew the Democratic Party's term, will not succeed in tipping the balance towards aggression and genocide. The steadfastness and resilience of the resistance will prevail until the occupation acknowledges the failure of its war, departs from our land, and leaves our skies.
