The Enemy's Escalation of Attacks on Lebanon is an Insistence on Igniting the Region

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirmed that the enemy's escalation of its brutal attacks and airstrikes on Lebanon, the latest of which targeted Nabatiyeh at dawn and resulted in the martyrdom of 10 civilians, constitutes new war crimes added to those it continues to commit against our people in Palestine around the clock.

The targeting of civilians is a fundamental and entrenched characteristic of this cowardly enemy in its wars, which it continues on a broad scale in this conflict, while it cowers from confronting the resistance fighters on the battlefields.

The occupation and its government, by persisting in these heinous crimes against the peoples of the region, carried out with the cover, support, and partnership of the United States since the beginning of the aggression, bear responsibility for igniting the region, along with all their partners in these crimes.

The official stance of Arab governments has exceeded the bounds of cowardice, moving into areas of partnership in aggression through their preparations to defend the criminal Zionist entity in the face of resistance responses, abandoning their duties toward the peoples of Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria, who are subjected to the zionist entity's raids and attacks.

The parties and active forces in the Arab countries and around the world have a duty to intensify their protests against the brutal genocidal war against our people in Palestine, against the ongoing aggression toward all the peoples of the region, and against the enemy's violation of all international and humanitarian laws with the support of the alliance of aggression led by the United States of America.

Both soldiers whose deaths have been announced today were killed after fighters from Saraya Al-Quds detonated explosives under their vehicle on the outskirts of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza City.

The second martyr of the IOF's drone strike in #Jenin is the leader in the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, Ahmed Abu Ora (Abu Yaqoub) of Aqaba, #Tubas, who executed the complex Jordan Valley operation that killed a settler last week.

The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, while mourning the two heroic martyrs who were targeted by the hands of zionist treachery—Martyr Ahmad Walid Abu Ora from Aqaba, Tubas, and martyr Raafat Mahmoud Duwasi from Silat al-Harithiya, Jenin—affirms that the enemy will not break the resolve of the resistance fighters in the occupied West Bank with this escalation. Instead, it serves as proof of the enemy's failure and inability to confront the resistance on the ground.

They ascended to the Highest as martyrs on the evening of Saturday, 12th of Safar 1446 AH, corresponding to August 17, 2024, as a result of an airstrike by treacherous zionist planes targeting their vehicle in the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

As the Qassam Brigades exalt its martyred fighters, it reveals their significant jihadist role, where they were responsible for planning and executing several high-profile operations, most notably the operation to blow up the Namer vehicle in Jenin on June 27, 2024, the complex triple ambush near the village of Al-Mutila on July 23, 2024, and the Al-Aghwar operation on August 11, 2024.

The Qassam Brigades affirms that the blood of its martyred commanders will only herald a torrent of blood for the occupier through more high-profile operations that will be carried out by Qassam fighters from all the governorates of the occupied West Bank, by the will of Allah.
