The enemy exercises maximum savagery and brutality before the ceasefire.
That day was the day of the Merkava massacre in Wadi al-Hujair, where 21 tanks were destroyed at the hands of the resistance fighters.
The IOF desperately tried to achieve any ground advancement towards the Litani River before the ceasefire was announced, but the resistance turned it into historic battles between its fighters and the enemy forces.
"Israel" ignored the UN Security Council resolution calling for a cessation of aggressions and carried out the largest military airlift in its history, claiming to have reached the Litani River and announcing that 50 helicopters transported hundreds of soldiers to southern Lebanon.
The resistance succeeded in downing an Apache helicopter on the Maryamin Hill in the Sour district, killing and wounding its crew members.

On the final day of the aggression on Lebanon, the occupation went into a frenzy in the last quarter-hour before the ceasefire took effect, after failing to make any ground advancements and after more than 25 tanks were damaged in Wadi al-Hujeir.
The occupation escalated its military operations against Lebanese towns and villages, targeting both people and infrastructure in an attempt to inflict as much damage as possible before the ceasefire took effect.
IOF military sources admitted that the resistance dealt severe blows to the elite forces in the south, announcing the killing of 120 soldiers and 40 injuries in direct confrontations with Hezbollah fighters. The occupation also lost approximately 50 soldiers and suffered 2,500 injuries among settlers.
August 14th: The Divine Victory
The fiercest war led against the occupation ends with victory for the resistance. The occupation who used the most advanced technologies at the time, 30,000 soldiers, all its air force, ships, and the world’s support lost against a few hundreds men armed with determination, south of the Litani.
Unable to achieve their government’s declared goals: an unconditional return of the two kidnapped soldiers and a permanent removal of Hezbollah as a fighting force in southern Lebanon, the occupation retreats, targeting civilian infrastructure and leading to a number of martyrs. This does not stop the people from returning in thousands to their homes in the south and Dahiyeh where the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivers a speech in person.

IOF warplanes launched an airstrike targeting the town of Kfar Kila, and a house in Aytaroun. Artillery shelling targeted the Al-Salam area on the outskirts of the town and a drone strike targeted an open field with two missiles near the town square without causing any injuries.

In this context, the Front mourns the heroic martyr Rashid Mahmoud Saddah, who was martyred by the bullets of settler gangs in the village, affirming that his blood will remain a torch to continue and escalate the resistance until the occupation is expelled.
These atrocities committed by settler gangs are carried out with the green light and full coordination of the zionist political system, with direct support from the fascist and racist government headed by war criminals Netanyahu, Smotrich, and Ben Gvir.
