Cancelling Blinken's tour is a declaration of the failure of American diplomacy, the rise of militarization policy, and the beating of the drums of war.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement saying that the cancellation of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to the region is a clear and explicit declaration of the failure of American diplomacy in the region. It reflects the U.S.'s inability to impose its conditions to end the war, including forcing our people and their resistance into submission.

Instead, this signals an escalation of militarization and the beating of war drums by the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon), as they amass naval and air fleets and supply the occupation army with the latest missiles under the false pretense of '"israel's" right to defend itself. This comes while the ongoing genocide against our people in Gaza continues and begins to spread to the West Bank, amid fascist calls for the genocide and destruction of refugee camps there, similar to the destruction occurring across Gaza from north to south.

The DFLP also stated that while Washington talks about its desire to stop the war in Gaza and reach a prisoner exchange deal, it simultaneously continues to provide political cover for the fascist Netanyahu, allowing him to persist with his maneuvers, deceptions, and delays, always resetting negotiations to zero. This is a transparent attempt to continue his bloody war, which is now expanding to the West Bank, with multiple ministers calling for the annihilation of camps there, mirroring the total destruction inflicted on Gaza.

The DFLP emphasized that the U.S.-"israeli" alliance remains unwavering in its push to impose its elimination project on our national cause, erasing the legitimate national rights of our people, and imposing solutions that amount to mere self-administration in isolated pockets of the West Bank. These pockets would be surrounded by settlements, checkpoints, barriers, military sites, and bypass roads, stripped of all elements of independent life, and completely dependent on the occupying state politically, economically, and security-wise.

The DFLP asserted that the escalating situation and increasing complexity demand, more than ever, a Palestinian national mobilization for comprehensive confrontation. This includes immediately implementing the outcomes of the Beijing Dialogue, such as urgently convening the temporary leadership framework and forming a national unity government to manage public affairs in the West Bank and Gaza. This would block any projects aiming to fragment the land of the State of Palestine and develop a comprehensive national struggle strategy, both on the ground and in international forums, to confront the U.S.-"israeli" project. This includes forming a unified national leadership to provide political cover, daily leadership, and tools of resilience for the comprehensive resistance in the West Bank and to support the steadfastness of our people and resistance in Gaza.

He was martyred while engaged in clashes on the morning of Thursday, 10th of Safar, 1446 AH, corresponding to August 15, 2024, following an airstrike that targeted him and his fellow martyr fighter, Ahmed Firas Al-Sheikh Khalil, as they resisted the incursion of the zionist occupation forces into the city of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.

As we exalt this heroic martyr, we affirm that his pure blood will not be shed in vain, and the boiling rage that engulfs all the governorates of the West Bank will erupt into volcanoes, drowning the occupation soldiers and settlers, by the will of Allah.

On August 14, they triumphantly returned to their homes amidst the rubble and destruction, which they rebuilt with the dedication of men and the sincerity of the faithful, better than they were before, to embark on a continuous and victorious journey, whose core slogan is "The era of defeats has ended, and the era of victories has begun."

The memory of the July 2006 war has been deeply engraved in the zionist consciousness and conscience, as the "israeli" killing machine, unlimited American support, unprecedented international diplomatic campaigns, and disgraceful internal collusion failed to defeat the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon or break the will of its fighters after 33 days of deadly destruction in the theater of operations across Lebanese land without achieving any of its goals. Along with all the support fronts in the Axis of Resistance, it stands by the oppressed Palestinian people, preventing the enemy from achieving its goals.
