Where his father’s blood is spilled behind him, the young son of Fayez Fawaz Daraghmeh recounts the moments before and following his father’s martyrdom after their family home was cowardly besieged by occupation forces in #Tubas.

“We were asleep and special forces surrounded us. They started shooting at the house and they started calling through the megaphone ‘Fayez come out, Fayez come out.’ We woke up our father and our father went out to clash with them.

After that, they started to shoot at him and each time they told him ‘Surrender yourself’ he would tell them ‘No, I will be a martyr and I won’t run away.’“

Fayez’s son then explains how his father went to exit around the back of the house only to be repeatedly targeted by occupation forces. The young boy, along with the other occupants of the house, were forced to exit where they were subjected to the questioning of the IOF.

“They repeatedly asked my mother, ‘Where is Fayez? Where is Fayez? Where is his exact location? What type of gun does he have?”

Then they started shooting at the house and they started bombing it. They bombed my father 8 times but my dad did not die from the bombing. My dad has 10 lives he doesn’t die from bombings. After that a [IOF] jeep came and my dad was standing there. The jeep came at the entrance to the house and shot at him with live bullets.

He started screaming…’There is no God but Allah and Muhammed is His Messenger.’ He was martyred.

On the verge of tears, the martyr fighter’s son explains how the zionist army’s assault did not stop there.

“They started insulting us…I told him to shut up and he started to hit him. After that they withdrew and took his body.”

The prisoner Naif Halaika (Al-Mushni) from Al-Khalil is now free after spending 19 years in the "israeli" occupation prisons. His appearance upon release today is a testament to the suffering he endured throughout his imprisonment. 100 days have passed while the occupation has prevented the entry of aid trucks into the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of over 1,000 children, patients and wounded. The humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip deepens on all fronts.

The "israeli" occupation army continues to close the Rafah border crossing between Palestine and the Arab Republic of Egypt for the 100th consecutive day, after burning, bulldozing, and rendering it out of service. This comes in conjunction with an unprecedented deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip across all aspects of life. This crime constitutes a clear legal violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and all international agreements.

100 days have passed since the occupation prevented the entry of all types of aid into the Gaza Strip. The occupation has blocked the entry of medical supplies and health delegations and also prohibited the entry of medicines and treatments, further exacerbating the dire health and humanitarian situation. This clearly demonstrates the "israeli" occupation's intention to collapse the health system and disable hospitals, highlighting its use of starvation as a tool for political pressure, which deepens famine, particularly in the governorates of Gaza and North Gaza.

100 days have passed since the occupation prevented 25,000 patients and wounded individuals, who have travel requests and medical referrals for treatment abroad, from traveling. As a result, more than 1,000 children, patients, and wounded individuals have died within these 100 days, and the lives of the remaining individuals are threatened due to the inhumane and immoral policy of the occupation, preventing them from traveling to receive treatment.

In light of this crime that the "israeli" occupation army continues to commit, we would like to emphasize the following:

First: We condemn the continued closure of the Rafah border crossing between Palestine and the Arab Republic of Egypt by the "israeli" occupation army, and we call on the international community and all countries around the world to condemn this crime, which is in violation of international law.

Second: We hold the "israeli" occupation and the U.S. administration fully responsible for the severe consequences of closing the Rafah crossing, preventing the entry of medical supplies and health delegations, and blocking aid entry. We hold them responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe that has claimed the lives of over 1,000 children, patients, and wounded individuals during these 100 days, as well as throughout the ongoing comprehensive genocide war, which has persisted for the 11th consecutive month.

Third: We call on the international community, all international and UN organizations, and all free nations of the world to pressure the "israeli" occupation and the U.S. administration to stop the genocide war against the displaced, civilians, children, and women in the Gaza Strip, and we demand them for more pressure on the American administration for the immediate reopening of the Rafah border crossing and the cessation of this severe humanitarian catastrophe.
