The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) mourns to our steadfast Palestinian people the martyr, Qassam Commander Tariq Dawoud, commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades in Qalqilya Governorate, who was martyred in a cowardly assassination operation carried out by the fascist occupation forces in the town of Azzun this Monday evening.

We affirm that the ongoing crimes of the occupation in the West Bank and Gaza, and the assassinations targeting resistance leaders, will not break the will of resistance among our heroic people and fighters. The blood of the martyr Tariq Dawoud will fuel the engine of intifada and revolution against this cowardly occupier and its settler hordes, until we achieve our usurped rights and our people's goals of freedom and self-determination.

The ferocious war waged by the occupation on our land and people, the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and the brutal violations in the West Bank will not bring it security or stability on our land. The attempts by this fascist government to uproot our people and liquidate our just cause will be shattered on the rock of the steadfastness and resilience of our great people on their land.

We call on the masses of our people in the West Bank, our revolutionary youth, and our heroic fighters to continue clashing with the criminal enemy, to avenge the blood of our Palestinian people, and to escalate resistance and strike the criminal enemy everywhere on our occupied Palestinian land.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out several operations against the sites and deployments of the enemy "israeli" army on the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Monday, 12-08-2024, as follows:

1. Targeting the newly established headquarters of the 146th Division in Jaatoun with salvos of Katyusha rockets in response to the "israeli" enemy's attacks on steadfast southern villages and safe homes, particularly in the town of Maaroub.

2. At 08:40, targeting the surveillance equipment at the "Metulla" site with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit and destroying it.

3. At 15:20, targeting the Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with artillery shells.
