We condemn the conduct of certain media outlets in propagating the false narratives and statements from the "israeli" occupation army to justify the massacre at Al-Tabaeen School, which resulted in over 100 civilian casualties, 32% of whom were children, women, and the elderly.

The Government Media Office calls on various media outlets that have echoed the "israeli" occupation army's unethical narrative to correct their statements and conduct professional and independent investigations. The occupation army disseminates false information and fabricated stories as part of its attempts to justify the ongoing massacres it commits against civilians, displaced persons, children, and women—most recently the fabricated narrative surrounding the massacre at Al-Tabaeen School in Gaza City.

We affirm that the occupation's claim regarding the presence of fighters at Al-Tabaeen School is entirely false and baseless. The people present inside the school were civilians, children, and women. The occupation army has utterly failed to prove the validity of its false and fabricated story.

The occupation army committed a massacre at Al-Tabaeen School in Gaza City, resulting in over 100 martyrs, including 32% children, women, and the elderly. In addition, three entire families are still missing, with their bodies yet to be found. It appears that the remains of these families were completely incinerated due to the intense explosion of the large, internationally banned bombs dropped by the occupation army on the displaced persons in the school, which may cause the number of martyrs to exceed 108.

The occupation claimed it killed 19 "terrorists" during the massacre at Al-Tabaeen School, which is false and contrary to reality. The occupation spread false information, fabricated stories, and fictitious positions regarding this massacre. We emphasize that the names published by the occupation include those who were martyred elsewhere or on different dates, and all of them were civilians and displaced persons, including university professors and government employees, with no military ties and no armed individuals among them, contrary to the occupation's claims. This is reminiscent of the Al-Nusseirat massacre, where the occupation claimed it killed 17 "terrorists" in Al-Nusseirat School, but the Government Media Office debunked the occupation's narrative and revealed that 14 children, not "terrorists," were killed by the occupation.

The statements made by occupation leaders regarding this massacre were speculative and lacked conclusive, verified intelligence, highlighting the randomness of the bombardment and deliberate killing. The primary objective behind these massacres was the genocide and killing of as many displaced persons and civilians as possible, rather than the false claims about the presence of weapons and military personnel in these centers and schools.

The occupation army took no measures or steps to prevent the massive number of casualties. Instead, it knew that the school housed over 6,000 displaced civilians and that all the martyrs were killed while performing dawn prayers, not during military operations as falsely claimed and promoted by the occupation.

We reiterate our strongest condemnation of this cold-blooded massacre committed by the occupation army and call on the world to condemn this massacre and the hundreds of others that the occupation has carried out as part of its ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people for the eleventh consecutive month.

We call on the United Nations and the international community to form international investigative committees to visit Gaza, especially the shelters and displacement centers, including schools, to ascertain the undeniable facts that refute the occupation's narratives and lies.

We urge the international press and media outlets that adopted the "israeli" occupation's narrative regarding this massacre and other previous false stories to apologize for this catastrophic professional error, especially after the occupation's lies have been exposed, proving that there were no armed individuals in the school.

We hold the "israeli" occupation and the American administration fully responsible for these ongoing massacres against civilians, which claim the lives of children, women, and displaced persons. We demand that the American administration stop arming the occupation and cease giving it the green light to continue its genocide.

We call on the international community, the Security Council, international organizations, and all free nations of the world to move from silence to effective action to stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing against our Palestinian people. We urge them to halt the massacres and bloodshed of children, women, and civilians, which have been ongoing for 310 consecutive days.

Regarding the "Trilateral Statement on Ceasefire Negotiations"

Since the beginning of the aggression, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has been keen on ensuring the success of the efforts of our brothers, the mediators in Egypt and Qatar, to reach a ceasefire agreement and end the genocide against our people. The movement has affirmed its support for any effort that achieves the cessation of aggression.

Hamas has engaged in numerous rounds of negotiations and has shown all necessary flexibility and positivity to achieve the goals and interests of our people, to stop the bloodshed, and to halt the genocide against them. This would pave the way for a prisoner exchange process, provide relief to our people, allow the return of displaced persons, and rebuild what was destroyed by the aggression. In this context, the movement agreed to the mediators' proposal on May 6, 2024, and welcomed President Biden's announcement on May 31, 2024, as well as the related United Nations Security Council Resolution 2735. However, the enemy responded with rejection, continued massacres against our people, and reiterated its stance that it is not serious about a permanent ceasefire. Its aggressive actions against our people were practical evidence of this.

Despite our awareness, along with the mediators in Egypt and Qatar, of the true intentions and positions of the occupation and its Prime Minister, the movement responded to the latest agreement dated July 2, 2024. However, the enemy met this with new conditions that had not been raised throughout the negotiation process and escalated its aggression against our people, committing more massacres, culminating in the assassination of the movement's leader, the martyr Commander Ismail Haniyeh—may Allah have mercy on him—which confirmed its intentions to continue the aggression and not reach a ceasefire agreement.

Even after the announcement of the trilateral statement, the enemy committed a heinous crime, massacring displaced persons at the Al-Tabaeen School in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza as they performed the dawn prayer on Saturday, August 10, 2024. This led to the martyrdom of more than one hundred civilians and the injury of over 250 others.

In light of this, and from a position of concern and responsibility towards our people and their interests, the movement calls on the mediators to present a plan to implement what they proposed to the movement and which was agreed upon on July 2, 2024, based on Biden's vision and the Security Council resolution, and to compel the occupation to comply with it. This should be done instead of pursuing further rounds of negotiations or new proposals that provide cover for the occupation's aggression and grant it more time to continue its genocide against our people.
