The Democratic Front Commends Sayyed Nasrallah's Speech and His Firm Commitment to the Choice of Resistance in Support of Our People in Palestine.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine commended the speech of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, during the commemoration of the late great leader Martyr Fouad Shukr, who was assassinated in the southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, last Tuesday due to a criminal operation.

The Democratic Front highly valued Sayyed Nasrallah's emphasis that the steadfastness and victory of the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and its thwarting of the liquidation projects of the "israeli" fascist government led by Netanyahu, are essential and necessary conditions to thwart the "israeli"-American alliance's projects in the region, seize control over its peoples and resources, and curb its national independence.

The Democratic Front stressed the historical role of support fronts in the Axis of Resistance, foremost of which is the Lebanese resistance front led by Hezbollah, as a principal and active partner in shaping the future of the Palestinian cause, the region, and the Arab countries supporting the resistance.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their heroic and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of operations against the sites and deployment of the "israeli" enemy army at the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Tuesday, 06-08-2024, as follows:

1. Targeting a building used by "israeli" enemy soldiers in the “Avivim” settlement with appropriate weapons, hitting it directly, in response to the enemy's attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes.

2. At 11:07, targeting a gathering of "israeli" enemy soldiers near the Birkat Risha site with Burkan rockets.

3. Launching an aerial attack with a squadron of attack drones that targeted the headquarters of the “Golani” Brigade and the 621 “Egoz” Unit in the "Shraga" Barracks north of occupied Akka, hitting their targets accurately and achieving confirmed hits, in response to the attack and assassination carried out by the "israeli" enemy in the town of Abba.

4. After monitoring and following up on the enemy forces in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms, and upon spotting an “israeli” armored personnel carrier near the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site, Islamic resistance fighters set an ambush for it. Upon its arrival at the ambush point, the fighters targeted it with guided missiles, hitting it directly, resulting in its destruction and the killing or wounding of its crew.

5. At 11:30, targeting the Marj site with artillery shells, hitting it directly.

6. At 14:45, targeting the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills Lebanon with rocket weapons, hitting it directly.

7. At 16:00, targeting the deployment of "israeli" enemy soldiers on Abu Dajaj Hill near the “Zarit” Barracks with artillery shells, hitting it directly.

8. At 17:00, targeting a gathering of "israeli" enemy soldiers on “Karantina” Hill with artillery shells.

Name:
Brother Commander Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar "Abu Ibrahim"

Birth and Early Life:
Born on October 19, 1962, in the Khan Younis refugee camp.
His family was displaced from the city of Majdal Asqalan by zionists in 1948.

Marital Status:
After his release from "israeli" prisons in the "Wafa al-Ahrar" prisoner exchange deal in 2011, he got married in 2012. He has three children, two sons and a daughter (Ibrahim, Abdullah, and Reda).

Education:
- He studied in Khan Younis schools and completed his secondary education at Khan Younis Secondary School for Boys.
- He then enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza and obtained a bachelor's degree in Arabic Language.

Student Activities:
- He worked in the Student Council of the Islamic University for five years, serving as the Secretary of the Artistic Committee, then the Sports Committee, Vice President, President of the Council, and then Vice President again from 1982 to 1987.
- He was prominent in general student debates between different blocs and was one of the most notable theorists of the Islamic Bloc.
- He led the Islamic Bloc.
- He founded the (Al-A'idoun for Islamic Art) group with the blessing of the founding Sheikh Imam Ahmed Yassin.

Militant and Jihadist Activities:
- He participated in the founding of the first security apparatus for the movement (Security of the Call) under the leadership of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in 1983.
- In 1986, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin tasked him and others with forming the Jihad and Da'wa Organization (Majd), where he became one of its most prominent leaders.
- He directed and led many popular confrontations with the zionist enemy from 1982 to 1988.

Arrests:
- He was arrested in 1982 and spent six months in Fara'a prison due to his resistance activities.
- In 1988, he was arrested again and sentenced to four life sentences, serving 23 consecutive years in enemy prisons, nearly four of which were spent in solitary confinement.

Activities in Prison:
- He assumed leadership of the High Command of Hamas prisoners in the prisons several times.
- He, along with his comrades, led a series of hunger strikes, with significant instances in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004.
- He is proficient in Hebrew and has many political and security-related writings and translations.
- He translated the books "Shabak Between the Remains" and "Israeli Parties" in 1992.
- He authored the books "Hamas: Experience and Mistakes" and "Al-Majd," which documents the work of the "Shin Bet."
- Sinwar wrote numerous security-related literature that laid the foundation for Hamas's security experience.
- He also authored a literary novel titled "Thorns and Carnations," which narrates the Palestinian struggle experience from 1967 until the Intifada.
