The leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) held a meeting today, Monday, with delegations from national factions who came to offer condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the nation's leader, Ismail Haniyeh, in Doha.
The leaders of the national factions highlighted the virtues, deeds, and legacy of the martyr, his commitment to national unity, and his ongoing efforts to bring different Palestinian factions together. They praised his distinguished relationships with everyone, both organizationally and personally, and commended his political positions and national and pan-Arab character.
The attendees emphasized the necessity of following and continuing on his path, adhering to his will, and honoring him through rapprochement and uniting viewpoints, and walking together in what we agree upon and excusing each other in what we do not. The leaders discussed ways to achieve unity among our people, consolidate national ranks, and turn national agreements into a tangible reality that lays the foundation for a new phase based on forming a unified national leadership that can lead our national project, reorganize priorities, and ultimately achieve the liberation of our land, the restoration of our sanctities, and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
The participants praised the steadfastness and firmness of our Palestinian people and their valiant resistance in facing the occupation. They reflected on the crimes committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank, and Al-Quds, emphasizing that we are in an exceptional phase that must be dealt with appropriately at all levels.
They also discussed various political and field developments related to the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, national priorities in the coming period, and the paths Palestinian leaders should pursue to achieve the goals and aspirations of our people, whether related to ending the genocide and occupation crimes, healing the wounds of our people, or enabling them to enjoy freedom and independence.

Ibrahim Salem, the prisoner tortured in one of the most famous leaked pictures from the "Sde Teman" occupation concentration camp, is free.
He was released a few days ago, after over 8 months, in a difficult health condition, having lost 40 kg of his weight.
Ibrahim explained the story behind the image that shook the world, saying the torture occurred after he protested when occupation soldiers prevented an elderly Palestinian with diabetes from going to the toilet, forcing him to urinate on himself. At that moment, Ibrahim started shouting and removed the band covering his eyes, prompting other prisoners to rage with him.
He was then taken for torture, stripped naked, and put in an extremely cold air-conditioned room during winter. He was tortured by electrocution and forced to stand in the position seen in the picture for four consecutive hours.
According to Quds News Network, six of his family members were martyred while he was in prison, and his home was destroyed by IOF bombing.
In addition to physical torture, he was mentally tortured when IOF officers used to lie to him during interrogation, telling him his children in the ICU had been martyred.
One day, after lying to him again, an officer told him he would "prove" it and forced him to watch videos of IOF bulldozers exhuming the graves of his siblings and their children, which he had buried in the yard of Kamal Adwan Hospital, showing their bodies being extracted and desecrated.
Despite the occupation's attempt to break his morale, he returned to comfort the hearts of the families of prisoners who anxiously wait for news about the condition of their loved ones.
