Obituary Statement for the Martyr Leader, Engineer/ Abdul Fattah Al-Zarie'i "Abu Ahmed," Deputy Minister of National Economy

With all the meanings of pride, honor, and dedication, the Government Follow-up Committee in Gaza mourns to the masses of our great Palestinian people, our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people of the world:

Eng. Abdul Fattah Al-Zarie'i "Abu Ahmed"
Deputy Minister of National Economy in Gaza

Who ascended to the highest ranks after being directly targeted by the aircraft of the "israeli" occupation, where he and his honorable mother "Umm Hussein" were martyred, may Allah have mercy on them. In this context, we mourn a governmental leader who worked continuously, had a journey full of sacrifices and honorable stances, and was an example of dedication and devotion in his work and service to the sons of our Palestinian people.

Eng. Abdul Fattah Al-Zarie'i was martyred to join the martyrs of our great Palestinian people who perished at the hands of the occupation.

While we count Eng. Al-Zarie'i as a martyr, we affirm that the martyrdom of governmental leaders will not deter us from performing our national duty towards our Palestinian people, and continuing our ethical and professional role in serving them and supporting their resilience and steadfastness in the face of this brutal aggression.

We ask Allah Almighty for mercy, acceptance, and paradise for him, and patience and solace for his honorable family and our esteemed Palestinian people. "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."

Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs.
A speedy recovery to the wounded and injured.
Freedom for our prisoners in the occupation jails.
Salute to our great Palestinian people.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out several operations against the positions and deployment of the Israeli enemy's army at the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Sunday, 04-08-2024, as follows:

1. Adding the new settlement "Beit Hillel" in the Islamic Resistance's fire plan and bombing it for the first time with dozens of Katyusha rockets, in response to the "israeli" enemy's attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes, especially the attacks that targeted the villages of Kfar Kila and Deir Siryan, injuring civilians.

2. At 08:00, targeting the surveillance equipment at the Ramia site with appropriate weapons and achieving a direct hit, leading to its destruction.

3. At 13:35, targeting the Birket Risha site with artillery shells and achieving a direct hit.

4. At 13:55, targeting the Manara site with rocket weapons and achieving a direct hit.

5. At 15:35, targeting the Malikiyah site with artillery shells and achieving a direct hit.
