In his final journey, the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh sat in the plane, the Quran in his hand, his eyes on verse 74 of Surah An-Nisa:
"So let those who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the cause of Allah, and he who fights in the cause of Allah and is killed or achieves victory - We will bestow upon him a great reward."
A divine message… Glory be to Allah Almighty.
In those moments, he was bidding farewell to the world in a state of worship and reverence, declaring his attachment to the Hereafter over the world, and affirming the path of jihad he chose with sincerity and faith.
We ask Allah to accept him as a martyr and to elevate his rank in the highest heavens.

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the unveiling of the Palestinian-made Ghoul sniper rifle, one of the world's most powerful sniper rifles with a lethal range of 2,000 meters, using 50 caliber ammunition.
The sniper is named after the father of Al-Qassam's local industrialization, the martyr leader Adnan Al-Ghoul (Abu Bilal), who was martyred in an October 2004 assassination. Under his supervision, the first Qassam rocket was made, the first Al-Battar rocket, and the first Al-Yassin 105 shell.
"Now, it doesn't matter to me if I am killed, because I have placed the trust of knowledge in the hearts of hundreds of fighters, and each one of them has become Abu Bilal."
Virtually all aspects of the rifle, from the bullets to the barrel, are made in Gaza. (Media 5).
During the summer 2014 Asf Al-Ma'akoul battle, Al-Qassam Brigades used the sniper before unveiling it on August 3rd (Media 2), showcasing its effective use across the combat axes of the Gaza Strip. The same day, they released a video of yet another sniping operation using the Palestinian rifle (Media 4).
In 2021, the sniper was used to blind the enemy during the Saif Al-Quds battle. During Al-Aqsa Flood, over 39 operations have been executed with the Ghoul rifle, out of about 70 sniper operations by Al-Qassam alone. In one case, a confirmed hit at a distance of 1.8km was recorded during Al-Aqsa Flood.
