Press Conference by the Government Media Office on the Occasion of 300 Days of Genocidal War Waged by the "israeli" Occupation Army on the Gaza Strip
300 days of the ongoing genocidal war waged by the "israeli" occupation army on our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, with full support from the American administration and global forces of injustice. During this horrific war, the occupation has committed 3,457 massacres, resulting in 49,480 martyrs and missing persons, including 10,000 missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings, of which 39,480 martyrs have reached hospitals. Among them are 16,314 child martyrs and 10,980 women martyrs, with children and women comprising 69% of the victims.
The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is catastrophic in every sense of the word. The humanitarian crisis is deepening unprecedentedly, with the policies of closing crossings and preventing the entry of aid, medicines, goods, and supplies exacerbating the food crisis and reinforcing starvation and malnutrition, especially among thousands of children who are deprived of milk, nutritional supplements, and vaccinations.
Additionally, 2 million displaced persons live in extremely harsh conditions, with no means of livelihood or a dignified life. Among the displaced, there are outbreaks of numerous diseases, the most severe being polio, viral hepatitis, and various skin, respiratory, and digestive diseases, leading to a sixfold increase in natural death rates compared to pre-genocide war levels. More than 9,000 natural deaths occurred in the Gaza Strip during the genocidal war, six times higher than the natural death rate before the war. The rise in death rates is due to the deteriorating humanitarian situation caused by the genocide and disease outbreaks, with more than 1,800,000 cases of different diseases reported due to war conditions and displacement. Other contributing factors include the severe overcrowding of patients in hospitals, with 34 hospitals rendered non-functional, the absence of medical services due to the occupation, the lack of medicines and treatments blocked by the occupation, and the lethal conditions of displacement and harsh living conditions in tents and lifeless areas where our people are forced by the occupation to move to, only to die from disease or bombardment and genocide.
During the genocidal war, the occupation executed its declared plan by targeting hundreds of societal groups, killing 885 medical personnel, 79 civil defense members, and assassinating 165 journalists and media workers. Additionally, the occupation executed over 100 scientists, university professors, and distinguished researchers in Gaza, eliminating distinguished societal groups in a criminal and brutal way.
We remind the world that during the genocidal war, the "israeli" occupation destroyed hospitals, burned them, and rendered them non-functional. It also established seven mass graves inside hospitals, specifically at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Nasser Medical Complex, and Kamal Adwan Hospital.
The occupation's crime of closing crossings has caused a real humanitarian disaster by preventing more than 25,000 injured and sick people from traveling for treatment, while simultaneously targeting the entire healthcare sector.

Regarding the targeting of the educational sector in Gaza, more than 39,000 students were deprived of taking their secondary school exams Tawjihi, and more than 800,000 students were deprived of education. The occupation completely destroyed 117 schools and universities and partially destroyed 332 schools and universities. Additionally, the occupation committed an organized crime by completely destroying 610 mosques and partially destroying 211 mosques, as well as targeting and destroying 3 churches in Gaza.

Resistance is a firm right and strategic choice for our people as long as the occupation and aggression continue until liberation, return, and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the entire national Palestinian soil with Al-Quds as its capital.
We salute our people's resistance in the occupied West Bank and value their stance in protecting the heroes of the resistance from persecution. We call on them to provide all means of protection and support for them.
Stopping the aggression and genocide is a national priority. The so-called "day after the war" is a day for the Palestinian people, its living forces, and its resistance. Any attempts to impose projects on our people, regardless of their source, will be met with the same resistance as the zionazi occupation. Any force, regardless of nationality, will be considered an occupying force with the same fate as the occupiers.
We call on our people in the occupied interior and our masses in the West Bank and Al-Quds to escalate confrontation and resistance against the occupation and to stand against its projects aimed at liquidating our people and cause.

Reforming and developing the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian political system is an urgent national interest, ensuring the participation of all Palestinians and their living forces so that the organization can achieve the aspirations of our people for liberation, freedom, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.

Resistance is a firm right and strategic choice for our people as long as the occupation and aggression continue until liberation, return, and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the entire national Palestinian soil with Al-Quds as its capital.
We salute our people's resistance in the occupied West Bank and value their stance in protecting the heroes of the resistance from persecution. We call on them to provide all means of protection and support for them.
Stopping the aggression and genocide is a national priority. The so-called "day after the war" is a day for the Palestinian people, its living forces, and its resistance. Any attempts to impose projects on our people, regardless of their source, will be met with the same resistance as the zionazi occupation. Any force, regardless of nationality, will be considered an occupying force with the same fate as the occupiers.
We call on our people in the occupied interior and our masses in the West Bank and Al-Quds to escalate confrontation and resistance against the occupation and to stand against its projects aimed at liquidating our people and cause.
We salute the government in Gaza for its steadfastness and call on it to strike with an iron fist against anyone who dares to become a tool of the occupation. We call on the clans and families of our people to continue supporting the government and security forces in enforcing the law, maintaining public order, and deterring violators.
Reforming and developing the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian political system is an urgent national interest, ensuring the participation of all Palestinians and their living forces so that the organization can achieve the aspirations of our people for liberation, freedom, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
We call on our people, our nation, and the free people of the world to consider August 3rd a global day of mass support for our people and our heroic prisoners.
