With all the meanings of pride and honor, and with increased faith, patience, and determination to continue the path of the righteous martyrs and the heroic Al-Aqsa Flood campaign, we mourn to our Palestinian people in all arenas of the homeland and abroad, and to our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world, the fighter leader, the great national symbol, and a figurehead of the nation, the leader of the resistance, and the former Palestinian Prime Minister:
The Martyr of Gaza, Al-Quds, and Palestine, the martyr of Al-Aqsa Flood, the fighter leader Ismail Abdul Salam Haniyeh (Abu al-Abd), Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
He ascended to his Lord as a martyr at dawn today, Wednesday, in the Iranian capital, Tehran, following a cowardly and treacherous assassination operation carried out by the zionist enemy, the renegade violator of all laws, norms, and conventions, reaffirming its criminality and fascism against our people in the homeland and the diaspora, and against our Arab and Islamic nation.
O great Palestinian people, free people of our nation and the world:
We affirm that the crime of the occupation in assassinating the movement’s leader, the fighter martyr Ismail Haniyeh, on Iranian soil, is a full-fledged terrorist act, a violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a dangerous escalation, and an expansion of its aggression and criminality against our people and our nation. The zionist enemy and its supporters bear responsibility for this crime and its dangerous repercussions on the region, but it will not succeed in preventing the roar of the Al-Aqsa Flood from shaking the foundations of this usurper entity and destroying it by God’s will.
O great Palestinian people, free people of our nation and the world:
Today, the great national symbol, the fighter Abu al-Abd, has proceeded to his Lord as a martyr on the path of the great martyred leaders, headed by the founding Sheikh Imam martyr Ahmed Yassin and his noble companions. He attained the highest aspirations he always wished for in the greatest heroic battle, the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, for the sake of Palestine and Al-Aqsa, joining the convoy of great martyred leaders on the path of struggle and resistance. His brothers and comrades will become stronger, more determined, and more steadfast in confronting the zionist occupation and its aggressive plans until it is defeated and expelled from our land and sanctities.
God granted the fighter martyr leader the greatest conclusion, having dedicated his life from his earliest days to serving his people and his nation, raising the banner of resistance and jihad against the occupation. He nurtured a great generation of heroes and resistance fighters, instilling in them the spirit of freedom, jihad, and martyrdom until they became, and still are, a thorn in the throat of the zionists, and a source of terror for their leaders.

Yesterday, the red flag has been raised on the dome of the mosque of Jamkaran, in the Iranian city of Qom, symbolizing a call for revenge and a declaration of war in Iranian tradition.
