🚨 BREAKING: Renowned Al-Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul (Media 1) and photographer Ramy Al-Reef (Media 2) ascended to martyrdom in a cowardly airstrike by US-funded IOF warplanes bombing a group of journalists leaving the rubble of martyr Ismail Haniyeh's home in Shati' camp, northern #Gaza Strip, where the people of the camp mourned the martyred leader.
Ismail and Rami were targeted despite clearly-marked press vests. They are the 164th and 165th journalists martyred in the Gaza Strip since October 7th.
Ismail has steadfastly covered developments on the ground since the beginning of the war despite several of his family members ascending to martyrdom. In March, he was abducted by the IOF from Al-Shifa Hospital, where he was brutally beaten and tortured. Yet, Ismail returned to the field and coverage within hours, refusing but to shed light on the crimes of the occupation, even if it meant his life was in danger.

Despite extensive efforts through political and diplomatic channels, as well as the efforts of the higher military commission, which have reached advanced stages in the efforts of ending the presence and operations of the Global Coalition against Daesh [ISIS] in Iraq and transitioning to a bilateral security relationship based on mutual respect and safeguarding Iraq's sovereignty and security, the coalition forces have committed a heinous crime and blatant aggression.
They targeted, with fighter jets coming from beyond the borders, Iraqi security forces sites in northern Babil Governorate at 22:45 on Tuesday, July 30. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of several service members of our security forces from the Popular Mobilization Forces and the injury of others without any justification for this reckless and irresponsible aggressive act.
Such serious and uncalculated transgressions can significantly undermine all efforts, mechanisms, and frameworks of joint security work to combat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. They also risk dragging Iraq and the entire region into dangerous conflicts and wars. Therefore, we hold the coalition forces fully responsible for these consequences following this flagrant aggression.
The "Global Coalition against Daesh" operates in Iraq under a specific mandate for a defined mission and against a common enemy. These attacks represent a serious violation of this mission and mandate. Iraq will take the appropriate legal and diplomatic measures to protect its rights, ensure its security and sovereignty, and safeguard its territory. We will also seek justice for the fallen heroes and hold those responsible for the attack accountable.

The recent aggressive attack on our Popular Mobilization Forces in the northern province of Babil calls us to fulfill all our national, legal, and legitimate responsibilities in defending Iraq’s sovereignty and dignity. We must unite efforts to make an immediate decision for the expulsion of foreign forces from our country.
The coincidence of this attack with the criminal operation carried out by the usurping entity in the assassination of the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, exposes the enemies' plans to ignite the region and expand the circle of war and aggression.
As we mourn the souls of our righteous martyrs and offer condolences to their families, we extend our deepest sympathies to the struggling Palestinian people, our honorable brothers in the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, and all resisting fighters.

The recent aggressive attack on our Popular Mobilization Forces in the northern province of Babil calls us to fulfill all our national, legal, and legitimate responsibilities in defending Iraq’s sovereignty and dignity. We must unite efforts to make an immediate decision for the expulsion of foreign forces from our country.

🚨🇮🇶 As Iraqi resistance factions begin bombing US bases in Iraq and Syria again due to delays in a US withdrawal plan, the US carried out a cowardly bombing in Iraq yesterday in which four Kataeb Hezbollah members were martyred.
Meanwhile, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Sudani urges calm, desperately reaching out to Iran to calm the factions that it has minimal bearing on. The deadline has ended, however, and the painful operations will return.
Sudani seeks to arrange a truce with the factions, who rejected his request to not target US interests after a several month pause. The factions no longer heed Al-Sudani's recommendations, stating clearly that the truce has ended.
The Iraqi factions have stated repeatedly, and again today, that they will join the battle with Hezbollah if the zionist enemy begins a war in the region. Sources confirmed to Al-Akhbar that Iraqi factions would launch precise strikes within the occupied Palestinian interior.
The spokesman for the Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades, Kazem Al-Fartousi, told Al-Akhbar: "All resistance resources will be mobilized for the benefit of the resistance in Lebanon if the zionist entity dares to launch an attack on the south or Beirut... Our position is unified in supporting the Palestinian cause and the Axis of Resistance militarily, in line with Hezbollah, confirming our full readiness in terms of equipment and personnel to support it." However, he noted that "Our presence and fighting alongside Hezbollah to repel any potential attack remains contingent on their approval, despite their significant capabilities to confront the entity."
Meanwhile, Nujaba Movemenet member Haidar Al-Lami affirmed that "the Iraqi resistance operates on the principle of unified response against the zionist entity to support the Palestinian cause and aid Lebanon." He added that the resistance has already studied plans, in coordination with the Yemeni resistance and Hezbollah, to strike vital targets in the Mediterranean, adding, "if the aggression on Gaza and southern Lebanon continues, there will be surprises against the enemy, as well as the possibility of expanding the scope of the battle if the entity takes malicious steps against Hezbollah." Previous reports strongly hinted at joint Iraqi-Yemeni operations also targeting US bases.
