As informed to the noble and esteemed people of Islamic Iran, all members of the Islamic Ummah, and the fighters of the glorious resistance front, in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, the great fighter Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the esteemed head of the political bureau of Hamas, along with one of his brave guards, were martyred in a terrorist attack by the cowardly and criminal zionist regime at his residence in Tehran.
Martyr Haniyeh was among the distinguished personalities of approximately 110 foreign delegations invited by the respected Islamic Consultative Assembly to participate in the "inauguration ceremony of the 14th President of the Islamic Republic of Iran," having made numerous visits to our country in recent years, especially after the historic Al-Aqsa Flood operation.
This crime demonstrated that the criminal, murderous, and terrorist zionist gang, disregarding international rules and regulations, spares no criminal action to cover up its humiliating defeats in the 9-month war in Gaza, which has resulted in the massacre of tens of thousands of Palestinian women, men, and children.
Undoubtedly, this crime by the zionist regime will be met with a severe and painful response from the powerful and grand resistance front, especially the Islamic [Replublic of] Iran, and the blessings of the jihadist efforts of the Martyr of Al-Quds Dr. Ismail Haniyeh in defending the cause and rights of the Palestinian people will support them.

The pure body will be transferred to the Qatari capital, Doha, on Thursday afternoon.

We assure our people, our nation, and all the free people of the world that the crimes, massacres, and genocide committed by the enemy will not succeed in breaking the will, steadfastness, and resistance of our people.
