After discovering the infiltration of a special zionist force, which was followed by military reinforcements that surrounded the camp from all sides, our fighters engaged in intense clashes with the invading forces, targeting them with heavy barrages of direct bullets. They also targeted one of the military vehicles positioned inside the camp with an explosive device. 🚨 The traitorous Palestinian Authority Security Forces attacked residents in Wadi Abu Freiha, #Bethlehem, this morning, prompting resignations among Fatah members.
At dawn, the forces opened fire and fired tear gas at the residents, causing injuries among women and children by shrapnel and suffocation.
A resident said: "For 20 years, this never happened to us except today at the hands of our own police."
Another added: "They attacked us and destroyed homes while firing tear gas... They put 2,500 people in danger while opening fire near homes."
In a letter to Mahmoud Abbas following the attack, Fatah members and local clan members stated that they will be collectively resigning in condemnation of the PA Forces' behavior, holding the Security Forces leaders in Bethlehem responsible for any drop of Palestinian blood.
"We will disassociate ourselves from the movement that allows its Security Forces to fire at the homes of martyrs and prisoners. We swear by Allah that we will not allow anyone to open fire on the homes of martyrs and prisoners again, no matter the price. Their honor and the honor of their families is a red line that we will not allow to be crossed, unless we are dead."

These operations came after a several month pause, after a lack of seriousness on the American side regarding troop withdrawal in the area, as evidenced by the lack of a concrete timeline to do so, in additional to new US military buildup and reinforcement in Syria, including new watchtowers.
These new American defensive measures were not able to protect the US base in Conoco oil field in eastern Syria, however. At this base, which houses American, French, and British soldiers, rockets made impact three separate times on three days.
Sources in the Iraqi resistance told Al-Akhbar that a significant portion of their rockets successfully reached their targets, adding that "the rockets managed to disable radar and equipment of the air defense system at Conoco." The source considered this "a new breach of all the defensive measures and systems installed at the bases."
The resistance sources continued: "The resistance often succeeds with simple equipment and tools like short-range rockets and locally manufactured drones in breaching the latest defense systems." They predicted "the return of resistance in Syria and Iraq to the pre-Gaza war bombardment pace, as this decision was made three years ago and is considered a legitimate right to confront the illegal American presence in both countries."
