In May of 2024 Samidoun launched a Week of Action to free the Holy Land 5 to commemorate 15 years since their sentencing and conviction. The Week of Action signified a renewed commitment and a critical piece of an ongoing campaign, including teach-ins and other events to educate communities in the U.S. and internationally about the horrific injustice of the case of the Holy Land 5. Samidoun Network, along with friends and supporters in the U.S. and internationally, will not stop until they see the release of Shukri Abu Baker and Ghassan Elashi, two founders of the Holy Land Foundation, who are both serving 65 year sentences, the longest of the five Holy Land Foundation founders who were imprisoned in 2009.

Syrian Druze residents of the town of Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights expel Israeli Finance Minister and other members of the Likud (Netanyahu’s party) from the funeral of the 12 youths who were killed after a missile fell on a soccer field.
The Israeli media and army have described the victims as Israeli civilians, but the residents of Majdal Shams are Syrian Druze living under occupation since the Israeli army occupied the Golan Heights in 1967.

At dawn on Sunday, 28/7/2024, our heroic fighters in the Askar groups carried out a blessed heroic operation at the "Beit Furik" checkpoint, alongside the blood and weapon brothers in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, Youth of Revenge and Liberation. During the attack, our men showered the enemy soldiers with a heavy barrage of bullets, resulting in the injury of several soldiers, one of them critically.
Following this, enemy forces stormed Balata camp and the Hashashin neighborhood in an attempt to save face, only to be surprised by the fierce resistance from the fighters defending their land and people. This led the occupation to repeatedly attempt to invade the camp five times without breaking the resolve and steadfastness of the rightful men and landowners.
One of our fierce fighters, the martyr fighter Loay Mohammad Masha (17 years old), ascended as a martyr, advancing forward without retreating. In return, our heroic fighters injured several enemy soldiers with their bullets, whose screams and wails were heard by the camp's residents. They also detonated explosive devices in the vehicles involved in the invasion, and even the reinforcements sent by the enemy did not escape their wrath.
We in Saraya Al-Quds - West Bank affirm that we are brothers in blood and destiny to everyone who raised their weapon against this oppressive enemy, which can only be deterred by fighting, fearing not those who appease it but those who strike it with fire.
To our brothers and the Arab Palestinian people, Allah has informed us in His noble book that every time they make a covenant, a group of them casts it aside. They have broken their covenant with Allah, so how can they fulfill it with you?
We bless the actions of our heroic men and salute their steadfastness, and if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet.
