A protest broke out in #Ramallah demanding the freedom of activist and political prisoner Ghassan Al-Saadi, who has been abducted in the prisons of the Palestinian Authority for 13 days and was transferred to a hospital three days ago in light of a health deterioration due to his open-ended hunger strike for his freedom. They held signs reading "Ghassan is in danger."
Ghassan Al-Saadi has repeatedly been abducted by PA Forces in recent years despite his affiliation with Fatah, due to his criticism of the PA's coordination with the zionist entity and its pursuit of fighters.
At the protest, freed prisoner Omar Assaf spoke, stating that the message of the protest is expressing the need for freedom of expression and to support Gaza, especially in light of the Beijing Declaration that affirmed the right of resistance by all means.

🟢 Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas:
—
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
- Let the third of August be a national and global day in support of Gaza and the prisoners, and a continuous movement until the genocide against our prisoners and our Palestinian people stops.
- We call for active and massive participation on this national and global day in defense of our prisoners and our people in the Gaza Strip, to expose the brutal crimes of the occupation against them, and to support their rights and just cause.
- In light of the ongoing genocide waged by the Nazi zionist occupation against our people in the Gaza Strip for the tenth consecutive month, the unprecedented rise in the number of martyr prisoners inside the occupation's prisons and detention centers, the systematic blackout practiced by this tyrant enemy regarding the true conditions of our prisoners in "israel's Guantanamo," and the escalation of criminal occupation in all forms of retaliation, psychological and physical torture, slow killing, deprivation of treatment, food, and medicine, and the simplest human rights, and the field executions of kidnapped individuals from Gaza in the detention camps.
- In the face of international silence and incapacity to stop this aggressive war against our people and prisoners, the bias, support, and full partnership of the American administration in this aggression, and the failure of human rights and humanitarian institutions to assume their responsibilities in providing support and backing and in championing our people in Gaza and our prisoners in the zionist enemy's prisons.
- The announcement of the upcoming third of August as a national and global day in support of Gaza and the prisoners comes, emphasizing the importance and necessity of active popular participation nationally, Arab, Islamic, and globally in it, and the continuity of all forms of demonstrations and marches and their continuation after the third of August, until forcing the zionist occupation to stop its aggression and crimes against our people in Gaza and our heroic prisoners in the Nazi detention camps.
- We look forward to making the third of August a pivotal, remarkable, and active day in all parts of Palestine, in the refugee camps and the diaspora, in our Arab and Islamic world, and among all the free people of the world, to support our people in Gaza and our free prisoners in the occupation's prisons.
May Allah have mercy on the martyrs of our people and our nation on the path to liberating Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, and greetings to the resistance fighters, the heroes of Al-Qassam Brigades and Saraya Al-Quds, and the Palestinian resistance, and to all the great sons of our people. Freedom is near for our dignified prisoners and honorable female prisoners, and victory is coming for our people and our valiant resistance.
It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.

Syrian Druze residents of the town of Majdal Shams in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights expel Israeli Finance Minister and other members of the Likud (Netanyahu’s party) from the funeral of the 12 youths who were killed after a missile fell on a soccer field.
The Israeli media and army have described the victims as Israeli civilians, but the residents of Majdal Shams are Syrian Druze living under occupation since the Israeli army occupied the Golan Heights in 1967.
Residents of the town have refused Israeli citizenship and continue to view themselves as Syrians.
