🚨 32-year-old Hamza Al-Sayfi from Dheisheh camp, #Bethlehem, was released today from Naqab prison after being detained by the occupation for two years under administrative detention, without charge of trial.
Two years of imprisonment were enough to change his appearance so much that his own mother could not recognize him when he approached to hug her.
She asked him repeatedly: "Are you Hamza?" while looking at his siblings for confirmation.
Hamza lost more than half of his weight in the occupation prisons. Clear signs of torture were also present on his body. He was later transferred to Al-Hussein Hospital in #Bethlehem due to a significant deterioration in his health.

Prisoner Iyad Awad from Jabalia was released this afternoon after being used as a human shield by the occupation who killed his mother.
He describes how the occupation invaded his home on 11/5/2024 at 5:00 AM. He refused to get out of his home at first because his mother was sick and needed attention. "My home was filled with women and children," he says. The soldiers forced him to come with them, using him as a human shield and forcing him to "search" 6 apartments, while assuring him he would return to his sick mother.
However, the soldiers abducted him after kidnapping him inside a tank. Prisoner Iyad told the soldiers: "You told me we would search the apartments and I would return to my mother after." The soldiers ordrered him to film a wedding hall, if he wanted to return to his mother, using him once again as a human shield. They made him return twice to the hall to film other things. When Iyad turned to leave to his mother, a soldier shot him with an explosive bullet in the hip.
"Not a single drop of blood fell to the floor. It exploded inside me, I couldn't feel my leg. They took me in the tank to a hospital inside 'israel.' The first day I had an operation, then I spent 3 days in the hospital, after that they took me to the 'Sde [Teman]' hospital. They call it a hospital but, it is not a hospital. It's worse than the prisons."
When asked about the situation of the prisoners inside occupation prisons, he said (1:54): "I will tell you how are the prisoners, look at these (his nails), and you will know how are the prisoners. It is forbidden (to cut them), some prisoners use their teeth, other prisoners rub them on the concrete, and some other can't like me."
