"Open the Eastern Gate"
Today, July 23, marks the 22nd anniversary of the martyrdom of heroic commander and founder of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Salah Shehadeh (Abu Mustafa).
Salah Al-Din Mustafa Shehadah was born to a family displaced from Yaffa in February 1952 in Al-Shati' camp. In 1984, Salah founded the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades' secretive precursor, the "Palestinian Mujahideen," before it got its more famous name in 1991. From a small, limited group sharing guns to a 50,000-strong army, Sheikh Salah steered the trajectory of the Palestinian resistance from its inception, a mastermind of its dynamic strategies.
A personable figure, he worked as a social worker in Egypt before returning to Gaza and working in student affairs at the Islamic University in Gaza City. In 1984, he was was abducted without charge under the pretext of forming armed cells. As the first intifada grew closer, Salah embraced his national duty. Arrested again in 1988 for "leading Hamas' military wing," he endured severe torture, including plucking his beard hair by hair, culminating in 14 years in prison.
From there, Sheikh Salah made his major shift: from killing soldiers to capturing them. The goal was to free Palestinian prisoners, and he did so through a new, special Qassam unit formed with fellow prisoner Yahya Sinwar and Mahmoud Mabhouh: Unit "101."
"Open the Eastern Gate:" Sheikh Salah's orders from his prison cell. Soon after, "Avi Sasportas" was captured. Three months later, the gate opened again and "Ilan Saadon" was captured. With their equipment seized, both soldiers were killed, their bodies preserved for an exchange.
IOF Minister of War Yitzhak Mordechai personally interrogated Sheikh Salah to ask the captives' location. Sheikh Salah refused to speak unless his hands and feet were unbound. Then, Sheikh Salah told him: "I don't know" and denied knowledge of them. Mordechai called him a liar, and Sheikh Salah responded: "My men are brave believers, and they do not know lying or cowardice...Your armed soldiers surrendered themselves when they were captured and kissed the feet of the fighters so they could be released, calling to their mothers." Mordechai left the room.
Sheikh Salah was released in 2000 alongside threats that he would be assassinated if he returned to military activities. So, he did the appropriate thing: quit his job at the University and dedicated all his time to resistance.
Salah, pursued by both the zionist entity and PA, oversaw the launch of the first "Qassam" rocket and several operations that killed dozens of settlers. Under his and Adnan Al-Ghoul's guidance, Al-Qassam began manufacturing their own weapons, making him the "number one enemy" of Ariel Sharon.
Former Shin Bet head Yaakov Peri said: "None succeeded in breaking his will. He is strong and resilient, withstanding all kinds of torture and temptation."
In 2002, IOF warplanes dropped a one-ton bomb on Sheikh Salah's home in Al-Daraj, east of Gaza City, killing 18, including him, his wife Layla Khamees, his daughter Iman (14 years), and commander Zaher Nassar.
Al-Qassam Brigades vowed in a subsequent statement:
We pledge, O Sheikh Abu Mustafa, that we will ensure the zionists hear wailing in every house and see mourning in every street. We vow, O our commander, to deliver a response that pleases Allah, for we have learned from you how to please our Lord.
We pledge, Abu Mustafa, that our eyes will not rest and our eyelids will not close until the zionists see their bodies in every restaurant, station, bus, and on every sidewalk. We make this vow, and you know our commitment, that we will make the zionists curse the hour they thought of killing you. Abu Mustafa, rest in peace, for you have attained the martyrdom you wished for, our commander."
A month later, Jihad Hamada executed an operation that killed 10 settlers and wounded 46 in "Meron." The wailing rose through the second intifada.
Today, Sheikh Salah's legacy is alive within every red triangle, his spirit etched in the heart of the resistance and the annals of struggle.

π¨ Hamas has created dossiers with detailed intel on thousands of zionist soldiers, in what has been described as a "cyber nightmare" by the zionist media.
According to a new report in Haaretz, Hamas created these dossiers as part of their intelligence-gathering operations. Some have leaked online, ranging in length from a few pages to 200 pages. On their cover, each dossier reads: "As revenge for the killers of [the] children of Gaza." Each includes the soldier's full name, their base or unit, I.D. number, mobile phone number, email address, social media accounts, names of family members, and in some cases passwords, license plates, credit card numbers, and bank account information.
The contents were obtained from leaked or hacked information, and in other instances scraped from social media networks. Previous zionist investigations revealed that information collected by Hamas from the social media accounts of IOF soldiers helped in the October 7th operation. The resistance's cyber units, from the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, and Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades remain active. You may read about the resistance's cyber and intelligence capabilities in one such report here.
Zionist experts fear that these reports, which create an "environment rich in targets," can facilitate social engineering "influence operations," give real-time access to military bases, or be used to map soldiers' locations. The information found in these reports can also allow for targeted operations against soldiers based on their seniority.
The reports created by the resistance have the potential to be used to link specific IOF soldiers to actions in #Gaza, and has already been used to do so. This can make soldiers targets for intelligence activity, or even legal action abroad. In the worst case, it can lead to the soldiers' death, as was the case when the Al-Qassam Brigades spent months hunting down IOF officer Yitzhar Hoffman, who was responsible for the invasion of Al-Shifa Hospital.

π¨ Zionist military intelligence formed a special unit 18 months ago to establish a list of targets to attack on Yemen, as revealed by zionist media today.
Long before Al-Aqsa Flood began, the zionists provided the US with information about Ansarallah. The work of this unit reportedly facilitated the bombing of the Port of Hodeidah.

Palestine Action Germany launched with an action against Elbitβs premises in Ulm!
Their statement:
Elbit Systems is the largest weapons manufacturer of the settler colony, so-called "Israel". In Germany, Elbit has two locations in Ulm and additional offices in Berlin and Koblenz. Its production ranges from surveillance and telecommunication to ammunition. Elbit is particularly known for their assault drones: more than 80% of the drones of the zionist occupation army are produced by Elbit.
We support the anti-colonial struggle of the Palestinian resistance and share their demands: a complete withdrawal of the occupation from Gaza with a comprehensive cessation of the colonial aggression all over Palestine, unrestricted entry of relief and reconstruction of Gaza, lifting the siege in its entirety, freedom for all prisoners, alive and martyred, land back, right of return, and self-determination for Palestinians.
Escalation will be met with escalation.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

π¨ In a repetition of a depraved scene, zionist forces tied a young Palestinian man to an armored vehicle, using him as a human shield amidst the ongoing armed clashes and invasion of Ezbet Jarad in #Tulkarem.
π¨π’ Head of the National Relations Office at Hamas, Hussam Badran, to Al-Jazeera (1/2):
β
Anyone who follows the internal Palestinian situation realizes that it is full of complexities and obstacles. In Hamas, it has always been clear and consistent that we are keen on achieving Palestinian national unity based on confronting this occupation and defining it as an enemy that must be resisted, not a friend or partner to find ways to coexist with.
The idea of a Palestinian national consensus government is actually a proposal from Hamas. We put it forward in the first weeks of this battle, intending to send a message to all parties trying to intervene in Palestinian internal affairs that organizing the Palestinian people's affairs is an internal Palestinian matter. We will not allow any party, whether regional or international, to intervene or try to impose its agenda on us as Palestinians.
Since then, we have been moving with the factions, various forces, and components of our Palestinian people, and the idea has gained wide acceptance in the Palestinian arena.
The new development is that our brothers in the Fatah movement have agreed to this proposal, perhaps for the first time since it was initially suggested. Therefore, we are talking about moving towards forming a Palestinian consensus government with the approval of Palestinian factions to manage Palestinian affairs in Gaza and the West Bank, oversee reconstruction, and prepare for elections at a later stage.
We discussed the mechanisms in this meeting, but one or two days of talks do not allow for discussing every detail. This agreement and the point related to forming a Palestinian national consensus government are important, and I believe it was a popular and public demand among Palestinians.
In the coming period, we in Hamas, along with all the factions, will move to ensure the implementation of this agreement, especially the point of forming a consensus government, as it cannot tolerate much delay.
We are not proposing the consensus government as the solution after the battle ends. We want to form this government as soon as possible, even if the battle continues. In fact, we believe that forming such a government might facilitate reaching a ceasefire and create a strong barrier against Netanyahu's government's plans to impose realities in the West Bank or Gaza Strip.
National work is not about taking it all or leaving it all, nor is it dealt with only based on past experiences. Yes, the experiences have been difficult and full of bitterness, and unfortunately, some Palestinian parties do not implement what is agreed upon, but in the end, we are talking about the fate of our people.
Every indication, every opportunity, and every attempt that can even lead to partial progress in unifying the Palestinian home and confronting this aggression, whether it comes from the occupation or its supporters, especially the United States, it is logical and natural for any Palestinian leadership to move in this direction. This does not affect our efforts related to the battle.
We have been engaged in this battle in the field for about 10 months, and we will continue in this matter to defend our Palestinian people. National meetings are not a substitute for the continuation of the resistance.

π¨π’ Head of the National Relations Office at Hamas, Hussam Badran, to Al-Jazeera (2/2):

We affirmed in this [Beijing] declaration the right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means and methods. We also established an important point, which is the unification of the Palestinian factional stance regarding our narrative in this battle and our right to defend ourselves. This isolates some discordant voices trying to undermine the resistance, making the Palestinian position clearer and more steadfast in its stance on the current war, whether regarding the concept of resistance and our defense of our people or even the Palestinian demands related to negotiations.
We are talking about the necessity of a permanent and complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip, and discussions about relief and reconstruction. Therefore, we affirmed the Palestinian position to prevent some parties from trying to influence the Palestinian stance or public opinion from different angles.
The meeting included 14 Palestinian factions. This was not a bilateral meeting between Hamas and Fatah. Each faction provided its stance and perspective, especially in the current critical phase we are experiencing. It cannot be a philosophical or intellectual discussion amidst the bloodshed in Gaza and the West Bank.
There are undoubtedly differences between the factions, not just between Hamas and Fatah, on some issues. However, the issues we agreed on and established in the statement are clear, direct, and touch on the current Palestinian situation, particularly the narrative of the war and how we end it, and the formation of a consensus government. These were the key points that were present, prominent, and agreed upon.
We will follow up with all parties to work on implementing these agreements on the ground and ensure that these steps are built upon with other positive steps towards further strengthening the internal Palestinian situation.
Some points were not raised in this round of dialogues. This dialogue includes all the Palestinian factions that were present. Regarding the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), it is not a new topic, and it has been discussed extensively. No fair and objective person can deny that the current situation of the PLO is not healthy, and there are significant issues that need to be addressed in its structure, administration, and even in its political program.
We talked about the general principle that the organization should include all Palestinian factions. Some people make a mistake when they talk about Hamas and Islamic Jihad joining the organization; many factions are outside the official frameworks of the organization. Additionally, many components of our people, civil society institutions, and others are not included. The issue of the organization is not a priority now; the priority is the war, supporting our people and resistance in Gaza politically, on the ground, and in the media, and unifying the Palestinian stance to face the conspiracies being plotted against us, whether now or after the war ends.
The occupation's statements indicate its annoyance with any Palestinian meeting, especially when it takes place in a country like China, with its global standing and role. This undoubtedly causes inconvenience and harm to the occupation government in all its components.
The time when the occupation could decide or do whatever it wanted in the Palestinian or regional situation is long gone. However, perhaps October 7th ended the zionist arrogance that the world was accustomed to.
As Palestinians, whenever we can increase our internal unity and organize our ranks and internal matters, it gives us additional strength in confronting this occupation, especially since we are talking about a great and courageous people.
