Carried on shoulders, raising the flag of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, and screaming for freedom: The father of 20-year-old martyr Ibrahim Zaaqiq screams louder than words.
Ibrahim's father, who is mute, led the funeral procession of his martyred son who ascended two hours after being shot by the occupying forces that stormed Beit Ummar, #AlKhalil, late Friday night.
He spoke no words, but his voice shouting for freedom, the flag in his hand, and the blood of his martyred son on his arm, bore witness louder than any speech ever could.
Ibrahim was a freed prisoner, released from the occupation's prisons two weeks ago after spending six months in administrative detention, and he was previously injured by the occupation's bullets.
He did not shy away from any position where he could confront this occupier, always resisting, even with stones.
His mother explains that he used to ask for martyrdom for the sake of the homeland and Al-Aqsa. He loved the people of Gaza very deeply and chanted daily for Abu Obeida. "He wanted it and received it, praise be to Allah."
