🚨 The discovery of the virus that causes polio in the Gaza Strip a few days ago portends a health catastrophe, as the virus has a 15-30% fatality rate amidst an overwhelmed and destroyed health system.
The virus is transmitted through the fecal-oral route, often through contaminated water, and its discovery strongly suggests a lack of clean drinking water.

Whether it's Genocide Joe, or Killer Kamala, the butchers of Gaza cannot be allowed to gather in Chicago undisturbed. Despite mass starvation, mass expulsion, and mass slaughter, despite 8 months of US-Israel genocide on Gaza, the Palestinian people remain steadfast and brave. People who live in the US have an opportunity and an obligation to stand with the people of Palestine and the people of the world, and confront the criminals who are sponsoring, funding, and cheerleading this genocide.
In August, the DNC, the Death and Nakba Coronation, will attempt to put a cherry on top this genocide. They'll attempt to claim a mantle of democracy and progress, while the bones of Palestinians crunch beneath them. They'll trot out the "progressive" politicians who happily sell out the Palestinians for empty promises to restore the legitimacy of the empire that they head. Update on the current field situation in the Gaza Strip up to 09:00 PM
North Governorate:
- "Israeli" artillery targeted a house belonging to the "Qadan" family in the Fadous area, north of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, resulting in serious injuries.
- For the tenth consecutive day, desalination plants in the Gaza and North Governorates remain out of service due to lack of fuel.
Gaza Governorate:
- Presence of "Israeli" vehicles and bulldozers around the university college area.
- Quadcopter drones dropped bombs on Street 8 and around the Islamic Complex area.
- Appeals from several families reporting missing children in various areas; their fate remains unknown.
- There is still a significant danger in approaching the Islamic Complex area and Street 8, stretching from the State Intersection to Al-Nablusi Roundabout.
- Occupation forces continue to block the entry of cooking gas since the start of the war until now.
- For the 74th consecutive day, the "israeli" occupation prevents the entry of vegetables, fruits, frozen foods, and essential materials into the Gaza and North Governorates.
