Despite the very disproportionate offensive which targeted the southern towns and numerous roads and bridges linking the towns with each other, and the Lebanese capital of Beirut, this aggression did not dampen the ever-resisting spirit of the Lebanese and Arab people.
Today, history repeats itself. In Gaza, South Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, and Iraq, our battle is one, and all our bridges are linked. Choosing to resist was, and remains, a cornerstone of our people's spirit.
