Following journalist Moath Amarneh’s liberation from occupation prisons after 9 months of detention without charge or trial, he warned those who awaited him to not come close to him and fellow freed prisoners.
“No one greet me. We don't know what illnesses we have, we don't want to infect anyone.”
On top of the cruel and barbaric physical and verbal attacks inflicted upon those within occupation prisons at the hands of zionist officers, the intentionally unhygienic conditions of detention centers and the criminal medical negligence has directly resulted in outbreaks of various infectious illnesses among political prisoners.
