During the visit, the delegation, which included Deputy Secretary-General Jamil Mezher, visited the grave of the martyr, leader, and founder of the PFLP, Wadie Haddad, in Baghdad. The delegation laid a wreath on his grave.
At the grave, Mezher praised Wadie Haddad's historic and pivotal role in strengthening the Palestinian cause. Mezher emphasized unity among Palestinian factions and called for the formation of an international front against the zionist entity. He stated that Wadie Haddad's slogan, "Behind the enemy in every place," should be a guide for all resisting people globally.

🔴 Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine Deputy Secretary-General Jamil Mezher led a delegation of Palestinian resistance factions, including Hamas, PIJ, and PFLP-GC, in a meeting with the Secretary-General of Asai'b Al-Haq movement in Iraq, Sheikh Qais Khazali in Baghdad, Iraq.
The Palestinian leadership delegation reviewed the latest developments with respect to the ongoing negotiations to stop the war. They emphasized the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and the continuity of resistance.
Mezher spoke on behalf of the Palestinian factions, thanking Sheikh Khazali for the reception. He stated that Iraq's people and government have always supported the Palestinian cause, and mentioned the participation of the Iraqi army in the 1948 Battle of Jenin, whose martyrs are buried in Jenin.
Mezher explained that Al-Aqsa Flood shocked the entire zionist system and restored hope for liberation, emphasizing that the IOF would not achieve its goals of eliminating resistance or creative alternative administrations. He stated that Al-Aqsa Flood disrupted normalization.
Mezher affirmed that the Palestinian people are fighting on behalf of the Arab and Islamic nation, and affirmed that the resistance across the Gaza Strip is steadfast on the ground and continuing to inflict losses on the enemy.

🚨 While dressed in civilian clothing, the treacherous "Palestinian" Authority forces kidnapped the political activist, Fakhri Jaradat near the American University in Jenin.
This came after his speech in the Jenin Camp Cemetery where he highlighted the PA's collaboration with the occupation forces. He spoke about how armed PA Security Forces lock their doors and hide when the IOF invades the city, leaving the resistant youth to themselves, but chases resistance fighters, attacks them, dismantles explosives, and steals their weapons after the IOF leaves.
"This leadership says that it does not want to fight. This leadership, which claims to represent the Palestinian people, says it wants to live with "israelis," but it does even live with our own people. This leadership will live with Ben-Gvir Smotrich to implement policies, but it will not live with our fighters, whether in the Jenin Brigade, or the Eastern Line Brigade, or the Tubas Brigade, or the Lions Den, while the founder of the Lions' Den [Musab Shtayyeh] is still detained [by the PA] for a year and a half."
Fakhri, who was Yasser Arafat's companion, was previously arrested by the PA in July 2021 for participating in demonstrations against the PA's assassination of the martyr Nizar Banat.
Speaking about the PA, he stated that this leadership accepted for its role to be one of "self-governing rule," returning to the peace parties that harmed and killed the Palestinian people in 1936-1939 to facilitate occupation. "This generation says to this leadership, which shuts its doors, 'You do not represent us at all!' This leadership does not represent the Palestinian people. What represents me is the resting place of Jamil Al-Amouri, the founder of the Jenin Brigade. What represents me is Ahmed Al-Amouri, who caught up with his brother [Jamil]. What represents me is the martyrs. What represents me is carrying weapons...This leadership has fallen! It has caused itself to fall. It does not represent the Palestinian people in any sense, as of the moment the first martyr fell and the signing of the peace agreements with 'israel.'"
