With all pride and glory, Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, exalts its sons, the fighters, the leader of the Nablus Brigade, the hero martyr Muhammed Omar Abu Bakr "Junaidi" (23 years) and his comrade-in-arms, the martyr hero commander Hussam Bassam Aslim (24 years), one of the fighters of the blessed Brigade, who rose with a group of heroic martyrs during the occupation’s aggression in Nablus.
The treacherous occupation forces besieged the two commanders of Saraya Al-Quds, Muhammed Abu Bakr and Hussam Aslim, in a house in the city of Nablus, Jabal Al-Nar (the Mountain of Fire). Our fighters waged an armed clash with the occupation forces until they ascended to martyrdom, after the house was bombed with missiles.
The heroic leader, Muhammed Abu Bakr, was one of the founders of Saraya Al-Quds - Nablus Brigade. He, along with his brothers, carried out many heroic resistance operations against the occupation’s positions and its settlers, which led to many deaths and injuries in their ranks. Today he is rising as a martyr, leaving behind a legacy of honor. We pledge to Allah Almighty that we will remain on his covenant until victory and empowerment.
We in Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, bid farewell to our heroic leaders, Muhammed and Hussam who had the honor of establishing the resistance in Jabal al-Nar, and affirm the following:
First: We announce in Saraya Al-Quds, the Nablus Brigade, that the two martyr leaders, Muhammed Abu Bakr and Hussam Aslim, are among the founders of the Lions' Den groups in Nablus, Jabal Al-Nar.
Second: We affirm in Saraya Al-Quds and its Brigade in Nablus, and all our groups in the West Bank, that the ascension of the great leaders, led by Muhammed Abu Bakr Junaidi, will not undermine the determination and will of our fighters. We will continue to carry the banner of jihad and resistance until the liberation of Palestine.
Third: Saraya Al-Quds in Jenin were inspiring the revolutionaries in Nablus Jabal Al-Nar, Tubas Al-Batula, Tulkarem, and Ramallah, all the way to the Areeha Brigade. All our groups operating in the field were and will remain the first line of defense to repel the aggression of the occupation and defend our land, our sanctities, and our people.
Fourth: The martyrs are gone and left us a legacy and wills recorded with water of gold. In the last moments of their days they testify to their steadfastness in the face of the occupation, coming forward without hesitation. We consider their wills as a trust in our necks and the necks of every free Palestinian, because they charted the righteous path towards victory and empowerment.
