The Palestinian factions that signed this statement condemn the official Palestinian retraction of the draft UN Security Council resolution that would condemn settlements and its replacement with a presidential statement that has no value on any level.

The deal that the Palestinian Authority made in return for retracting its position means nothing but its continuation in the series of selling illusions to our people. It means being dependent on the American administration that has been complicit in the occupation against our people and their rights for decades, in addition to submitting to America’s calculations related to the Russian-Ukrainian war in light of the ongoing international conflict.

This popularly, nationally, and politically rejected deal came in light of the escalation of the Palestinian struggle against the occupation, its right-wing fascist government, and its brutal behavior aimed at completely eliminating the Palestinian wherever he is. This deal came in light of the projects of Judaization, expulsion, and displacement that Al-Quds is subjected to, and in light of the zionist colonialist brutality and its persistence in the implementation of annexation through the legalization of settlement outposts. This deal came in light of the attacks on the prisoners’ dignity and humanity through the tightening of their detention conditions. All of this indicates the danger of the approach taken by the official leadership and its devastating impact on the rights and sacrifices of our people.

Our national duty imposes building on the escalating popular resistance against the occupation and accumulating it in a way that enhances the steadfastness of our people and their confrontation with the occupation. The occupation and its fascist government will not back down from their plans and policies except with a comprehensive field resistance led by a unified national leadership that preserves the rights of our people and safeguards their sacrifices, leading to the liberation of its land and sanctities and the establishment of its independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

The time has come to stop, step back [from this path], and not cause more political crises against our cause. It is time to move towards a unified national strategy agreed upon by all Palestinians and to rebuild the Palestinian political system on the principle of everyone's participation.

Together and jointly, until liberation and return.
