Warning of the dangerous repercussions of decisions and considering them suspicious and unjust decisions.
The Department of Refugee Affairs and the Right of Return in the Popular Front strongly condemns the UNRWA’s dismissal of the head of the Workers Union in the West Bank, his deputy, and other members.
The Department of Refugee Affairs and the Right of Return in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine strongly condemns the decision of the UNRWA administration to dismiss the head of the Workers Union in the occupied West Bank and his deputy, dismiss two members, and impose harsh punitive measures on seven other members, and warns of the dangerous repercussions of these dangerous decisions.
The Department believes that this decision is extremely political and unjust, and expresses its astonishment at this decision being taken at this time in light of the war of genocide waged by the zionist entity against our people, and the systematic targeting of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA).
The department considers this decision very dangerous and reflective of UNRWA’s bias and consistency with the “recommendations of the independent committee” headed by the zionist former French Foreign Minister, which explicitly called for reformulating the constitution of the UNRWA Workers Union, and amending its provisions in ways that limit the union’s powers and representation of workers, and stripping it of its union tools in defending their rights.
The Department notes that this decision comes more than a year after the legitimate strike carried out by the West Bank Union in an effort to secure the rights of workers. It also raises a number of questions about the motives and timing of this decision.
The Department calls on the UNRWA administration to immediately reverse this unjust and suspicious decision, and to return the dismissed employees to their work, especially in light of the critical circumstances that require concerted efforts to confront the suspicious zionist and Western challenges and plans aimed at liquidating UNRWA.

🟢 Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan at Hamas’ press conference on the starvation war being waged against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip today, June 29th, 2024 (1/4):
—
For the 267th day, the zionist occupation continues its brutal aggression and genocide war against our people in the Gaza Strip, committing the most horrific massacres, killings and barbaric bombings, and destroying all aspects of life there.
The Nazi occupation is closing all crossings, the lifeline for more than two million Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip, which has deepened the human tragedy they have been experiencing for nearly nine months. Cases of starvation have become a reality, not a metaphor, occurring in the Gaza Strip, especially in the Gaza and North governorates.
The situation in the Gaza and North governorates has become tragic, threatening the ascending of thousands of martyrs due to hunger and the lack of food, water, and the necessities of life as the enemy prevents the entry of aid, and even targets and burns what enters from it, which plunges the population into a state of great famine as there is no safe place, and no provision for the most basic necessities of life: no food, no water, no medicine.
UN estimates indicate that 70% of our people in the Gaza Strip face the real threat of famine, while children in particular suffer from malnutrition and weak immunity.
Many international organizations and bodies have confirmed that our people in the Gaza Strip, who number 2.3 million people, need at least 500 aid trucks per day. Given the non-arrival of this number of trucks, this means that:
The entire population of the Strip, i.e. 2.3 million people, today suffer from food insecurity.
346,000 children under the age of five suffer from malnutrition.
50,400 children under the age of five suffer from acute malnutrition.
160,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women need additional nutrition to avoid malnutrition.
International reports, by experts from 19 United Nations agencies and four donor countries, published on Monday, 6/25/2024 , warned of:
The continued high risk of famine occurring throughout the Gaza Strip, in light of the continuing war and restrictions imposed on the access of humanitarian aid by the zionist occupation.
More than half of Gazan families reported that they often do not have food, and more than 20% of families spend entire days and nights without eating any food.
About 96% of Gaza’s population (2.1 million people) face high levels of acute food insecurity.
More than 495,000 people (22% of the population) face catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity in Stage 5, in which families face severe food shortages and starvation.
The unjust siege policy and closure of crossings imposed by the occupation led to a cash crisis and prevented money from reaching the residents of the Gaza Strip, which greatly affected relief efforts and people’s ability to buy the food supplies they needed, and deepened cases of famine in the Gaza Strip.
The occupation obstructs the arrival of aid by imposing a comprehensive military blockade, which constitutes collective punishment, as the occupation controls all sea, air and land entrances, and prevents the arrival of aid and relief materials.
The occupation follows a policy of systematic, barbaric destruction of most roads, energy, water, hygiene, and sanitation equipment.
The occupation launches attacks on relief workers and those responsible for ensuring the arrival of aid, including community figures, mayors, associations, institutions, and emergency committees. The zionist occupation killed 364 health workers, 165 United Nations humanitarian workers, and 8 humanitarian workers affiliated with non-governmental organizations.

🟢 Senior Hamas leader Osama Hamdan at Hamas’ press conference on the starvation war being waged against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip today, June 29th, 2024 (2/4):
—
The fascist occupation government ignores notifications received from humanitarian actors, which makes relief operations and aid delivery extremely dangerous.
There is no safe place in Gaza, and the Nazi occupation army issued several orders to the population to move to so-called “safe” places, but none of them has been proven to be safe! The occupation army attacked these places and killed hundreds of those who took refuge there.
The occupation prevents humanitarian missions from reaching the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, and many of them are arbitrarily rejected, and relief workers are arrested at military checkpoints.
We consider the starvation policy to be one of the most brutal methods of war used by the "israeli" occupation. This policy targets innocent civilians and is considered a war crime under international humanitarian law, especially the Geneva Conventions.
Behind this policy, the occupation aims to put pressure on our people in the Gaza Strip and break their will by starving and humiliating them, in an attempt to impose alternatives that are consistent with the occupation’s policies for managing the lives of citizens, as announced by the criminal Minister of War, Yoav Gallant, and it is a policy that our people have thwarted.
The zionist Minister of Energy, Yisrael Katz, announced - on the first day of the aggression - that "Tel Aviv" would not return water, electricity, and fuel to the Gaza Strip unless the "israeli" prisoners returned to their homes, in recognition of the occupation government’s use of thirst and starvation as a weapon since the beginning of the aggression.
This zionist policy pursued by the fascist occupation government is one of the tools of genocide, revenge and collective punishment against our people in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the massacres and continuous bombing against defenseless civilians in their homes, neighborhoods and displacement tents.
The weapon of starvation is a systematic crime through which the occupation government defies all laws, charters, treaties, and the rulings of the International Court of Justice, which were recently issued and confirm the necessity of bringing aid into the Gaza Strip immediately.
The failure of world leaders to prevent starvation in the Gaza Strip is shameful and a stain on the brow of humanity. The catastrophic situation that the people of Gaza are experiencing, and the widespread hunger throughout the Strip, represent a new and real test of the human and moral values that all countries supporting and partnering with the occupation in this brutal war have long sung about.
The starvation policy pursued by the fascist occupation government against our heroic prisoners has escalated in an unprecedented manner since the arrival of the criminal Ben Gvir to his position, who brazenly boasts about the small and poor amount of food provided to the prisoners, and that this comes to “deter” the prisoners, in a blatant violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, international human rights law, and prisoners’ rights conventions and regulations.

The Palestinian prisoner inside zionist prisons and detention camps still waits for food while he is starving, finishes his meal while he is starving, and waits for the next meal while he is starving, and so on over the course of the months of detention.
Human rights and international reports showed horrific cases of starvation of detained prisoners and detainees, especially from the Gaza Strip, by rationing the quantity and level of food provided to them. The world has seen pictures of many prisoners and detainees who lost weight significantly a few months after their arrest.
The American administration and its political officials, starting with President Biden, bear direct political, moral and humanitarian responsibility for the tragic humanitarian conditions of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and for the state of dangerous famine that has expanded throughout the entire Strip.
The American administration bears responsibility because of its lies and misleading public opinion about the reality of the war of genocide and starvation and thirst in the Gaza Strip on the one hand, and because of its continued coverage of these zionist crimes, and providing the occupation and its criminal army with military, political and diplomatic support to continue the genocide and stifling siege of defenseless civilians in the Strip.
The floating pier that the American administration established on the coast of Gaza was nothing but propaganda and a political show to save the face of this American administration that is a partner with the occupation in killing, besieging, and starving our people. This port did not solve the problem of the lack of food supplies. Rather, levels of famine rose even more with its presence.
The horrific and painful scenes of famine, and the numbers of deaths due to hunger and food shortages, must shake the consciences of all world leaders and governments, and push them to raise their voices and get out of the circle of silence to take practical steps that force the occupation to stop this Nazi policy, and work urgently to provide relief to our people and prevent the occupation from starving them.
We stress the need for international institutions and organizations to bear their humanitarian, legal and moral responsibilities, and not to yield to blackmail and the dictates of the occupation and its supporters, and to move to exert all pressure at all levels to implement their work and programs and provide relief to our people who are being subjected to the most horrific crime of starvation and genocide in the modern era.
The situation in Gaza cannot continue like this, and the international community must move urgently to end the suffering of our people and put an end to this ongoing crime. We stress the need for world leaders to adhere to their humanitarian responsibilities to stop the genocide of the people of Gaza.
We call on the international community and all institutions and organizations to put pressure on the zionist occupation to open all crossings with the Gaza Strip, and we deplore the international silence in the face of the closure of these crossings in the face of more than two million Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.
We reiterate the necessity of expediting the opening of the Rafah crossing, and obliging the occupation to withdraw immediately from it, as this crossing was and will remain purely Palestinian-Egyptian, and the occupation will not have any military, security, or other authority over it.

We look to our Arab and Islamic depth for effective and urgent action at all political, diplomatic, media, humanitarian and legal levels, to take bold steps in supporting and providing relief to our people, to break all the restrictions created by the occupation and its supporters from the American administration and some Western countries, to oblige the occupation to open the Rafah crossing, to send relief, medical, and humanitarian convoys to provide relief to our people throughout the Gaza Strip and prevent their death from hunger, thirst and disease.
We particularly turn to the charitable and humanitarian institutions supporting Palestine in our Arab and Islamic world and the world to intensify their efforts and urgent initiatives, to enhance all forms of donations and aid to save our people in Gaza, and to challenge all obstacles and the policy of drying up food sources launched by the occupation.
The real position of Netanyahu and his extremist government is still characterized by evasion of the agreement’s enacting. They still refuse to acknowledge a permanent ceasefire, nor a complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
We follow with regret the position of the American administration, which insists on holding Hamas responsible for obstructing reaching an agreement, despite Hamas welcoming what was stated in Biden’s speech from an emphasis on a permanent ceasefire, comprehensive withdrawal, reconstruction, and exchange, and despite Hamas also welcoming the Security Council resolution.
The world did not hear any approval or welcome from any official in the occupation government regarding Biden’s speech or the Security Council’s decision, and everything that was said about that came from the words of officials in the American administration.
It can be said that there is nothing really new in the negotiations to stop the aggression, and what is being reported from the American administration comes in the context of exerting various pressures on the [Hamas] movement until it agrees to the "israeli" paper as it is without amendment to it.
We reaffirm that we in the Hamas movement are ready to deal positively with any formula that fundamentally and directly guarantees a permanent ceasefire, a comprehensive withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and a real exchange deal.
In the midst of scenes of hunger and thirst and images of queues to obtain food and water for our people in the Gaza Strip, we recall the hadith of our Messenger Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "He who sleeps full and has his neighbor hungry beside him knowingly does not believe in me."
We wonder, after nearly nine months of the zionist aggression and the genocidal war it committed against our people in the Gaza Strip: Does our Arab and Islamic nation know that its people and neighbors in the Gaza Strip are dying of hunger and thirst, and are searching for the simplest thing to keep them alive, and they are besieged for more than seventeen years?!
The zionist war of starvation, which continues with all brutality, will not break the will of our struggling Palestinian people and our patient people stationed in the Gaza Strip. We will continue our steadfastness and jihad, and the defeat of our enemy, and our date is with a near victory and return, and the defeat of the occupation and its Nazi army.

Yesterday, the Al-Qassam Brigades broadcast the sniping of an IOF soldier in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and said it was Sergeant Eyal Shines (19 years old), after the occupation army acknowledged his death on Friday morning, indicating that he was from the 931 Battalion in the Nahal Brigade.
According to military and strategic expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, Al-Qassam's announcement of the name of an IOF soldier and his killing by a sniper carries specific messages.
Al-Duwairi said that the Palestinian resistance records the names of “israeli” soldiers who committed significant criminal acts in the Gaza Strip through videos published on social media platforms. He pointed out that these "israeli" soldiers committed heightened levels of crimes, such as stealing from Palestinian homes or killing children and women, "so the resistance tracks them as individuals when it has complete information."
He warned that these people are placed under surveillance and follow-up, “and they are sniped when the opportunity comes for retaliation,” concluding that Al-Qassam Brigades announcing the name of the IOF soldier in the sniping operations indicates the bad criminal record of that dead man.
For example, in March, Al-Qassam Brigades hunted and killed the IOF officer responsible for the storming of Al-Shifa Hospital in November 2023.
Sniping operations in general take place after tracking and monitoring, and take hours or days after the resistance sniper chooses a specific place based on IOF movements. Most of the sniper operations of the Palestinian resistance have been successful.

🔻 The zionist army admits to the deaths of two of its soldiers during combat with the Palestinian resistance in the northern #Gaza Strip. One of the soldiers killed was mourned publicly on social media earlier today. The IOF also admitted to the serious wounding of two other soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip.
