We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) strongly condemn the criminal zionist occupation's re-arrest of the Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Dr. Aziz Dweik, just a few days after his release, in a brutal and retaliatory manner.

We affirm that the occupation's attempts to break the will of Dr. Aziz Dweik and the will of our heroic detainees will be futile and they will fail.

We call on legislative councils in countries around the world, human rights organizations, and legal and human rights institutions to condemn this crime and to urgently move to pressure the occupation to release him and stop these aggressive and retaliatory practices against Dr. Dweik and all of the heroic prisoners.

As we condemn this arrest crime, we hold the occupation fully responsible for his life and safety.

Up to this moment, our resistance fighters have been engaged in fierce clashes with the zionist occupation forces that stormed Al-Fara'a Camp from several axes, including the Ain front, Beirut neighborhood, and Al-Damj neighborhood. They have detonated many explosive devices, one of which hit a military bulldozer at the camp entrance, and another exploded near a military vehicle by the sports club, causing confirmed casualties among the enemy.

Our fighters are still in the field, engaging in intense clashes with the invading forces, and they have much more in store.
