Ramallah - The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that, in the context of the occupation's targeting of children through systematic arrests, "israeli" occupation forces arrested Bahaa Kazem Haj Mohammed (7 years old) from the village of Al-Mughayyir/Ramallah on the first day of Eid al-Adha, who was released later after several hours.

The Prisoners Club explained that Bahaa, according to his family, "was in the center of the village with a group of village children and youths when they were arrested. The village of Al-Mughayyir, like all other governorates, towns, and camps, is subjected to repeated raids by occupation forces, either to harass the villagers or to carry out more systematic arrests."

The club added that Bahaa was beaten on his hands after his arrest, and the occupation forces deliberately left him at a point far from his home while keeping three others, including teenagers and a young man, in detention.

The Prisoners Club noted that Bahaa's brother was arrested by the occupation forces a few days ago; he is Ali Kazem Haj Mohammed, 20 years old, and the occupation forces carried out harassment operations against his family and vandalized their home.

The club pointed out that since the start of the genocide war, at least 640 cases of arrests among children have been recorded.

Children in the occupation's prisons - numbering about 250 - are subjected to all retaliatory measures, including harassment, torture, and medical crimes, which the prisoners face in the occupation's prisons and camps. It is noteworthy that a group of children in "Megiddo" were arrested from Gaza.

The Prisoners Club renewed its call to all international human rights organizations to restore their necessary and required role in the face of the ongoing genocide war against our people in Gaza, and in the face of the escalating crimes against prisoners and detainees.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirmed that the occupation's act of burning the departure hall at the Rafah crossing, coinciding with similar crimes against homes and infrastructure in Rafah, is a vengeful step that reflects the extent of the confusion and inability of the occupation army after the great losses it suffered in the city and the deadly ambushes carried out by the valiant resistance in the neighborhoods and alleys of the city.

The Front considered this crime to be just another episode in a long series of crimes committed by the enemy against our Palestinian people, aimed at entrenching the policy of siege, closure, and starvation after its military options failed and its inability to achieve any field accomplishments on the ground.

The Front stressed that the crime of burning the departure hall at the crossing would not have been committed without direct American support and international complicity, which gave the green light to the occupation to wage a systematic starvation war by continuing to close the crossings and preventing the entry of urgent relief aid, especially to our people in the northern Strip.

🚨 Fierce armed clashes between the Palestinian resistance and IOF have renewed and intensified at Al-Awda roundabout in central Rafah in the southern #Gaza Strip. The resistance has targeted another military vehicle, causing it to ignite on fire.
