My brothers, make use of your steadfastness with prayers for our martyr, for he would not sleep at night nor during the day, a steadfast and brave fighter."

And what is prison but the shadow of a house I lived in, luxuriating in its shade and comfort. How many a free man have shackled themselves with humiliation, while another honors and esteems his imprisonment.
We remain with our high determination and we refuse to be broken, even if our bodies are shackled for a moment in time. The shackles of minds are weaker than a spider's web... A resounding greeting mixed with pride and patience for those who imprisoned; my gratitude extends to them like a river... I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who shared this joy with me... Freedom for the prisoners, freedom."
