The "israeli" occupation army committed a brutal massacre in Nusseirat camp (central Gaza Strip). This massacre has placed a significant burden on the Palestinian Ministry of Health and on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, the only government hospital in the central governorate. This hospital provides healthcare services to one million people and displaced persons, but today it is unable to accommodate the large number of victims resulting from the daily massacres committed by the "israeli" occupation.

The number of martyrs due to the "israeli" occupation's crime against civilians in the Nusseirat massacre yesterday reached 274 martyrs, including 64 children, 57 women, and 37 elderly. Among the martyrs, there were bodies that were dismembered and difficult to identify. The number of injuries reached 698, including 153 children, 161 women, and 54 elderly, with some injuries resulting in amputations and critical conditions.

These large numbers of victims from the Nusseirat massacre revealed the immense pressure on the healthcare system, which the "israeli" occupation army has deliberately destroyed in a systematic manner for the ninth consecutive month. We face a significant shortage in medical personnel, healthcare supplies, medicines, and medical equipment. There is also a clear deficiency in electrical power, which has become a looming threat to the functioning of healthcare teams and the hospital as a whole. The hospital is currently operating on only one generator after the second generator failed last week. If this sole generator stops, the hospital will cease to provide services, posing a great danger to the lives of the injured and patients and leading to a healthcare and humanitarian disaster.

The medical teams working around the clock in all Gaza Strip hospitals have been exhausted over the past 9 months of continuous work in hospitals and medical centers. The healthcare system is under unprecedented burdens, especially with the occupation killing more than 490 medical staff and arresting 310 medical personnel. Additionally, the occupation army has destroyed more than 130 ambulances. All these factors have severely impacted the healthcare situation in Gaza, making the task for medical teams immense and requiring genuine support from all countries in the world amid the ongoing aggression and genocide war in Gaza.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has been relying on generators for 9 months to supply hospitals with necessary electrical power around the clock after the destruction of the only power plant in Gaza. The "israeli" occupation army has also destroyed and targeted hospital generators, prevented the entry of generators and spare parts necessary for their maintenance, and delayed the entry of fuel into Gaza, exacerbating the severe healthcare crisis.

We urgently call on the international community, United Nations institutions, international organizations, and relief agencies to support and restore the healthcare sector and the medical system immediately. This includes bringing in medical teams and field hospitals from around the world to support medical teams in Gaza, providing hundreds of ambulances, supplying medical equipment such as MRI and CT scan machines, sending spare parts for medical equipment, and repairing broken medical devices to try to manage the healthcare situation. We also need to provide generators for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and other hospitals in Gaza to save the healthcare situation, which has reached a catastrophic stage.

One martyr and a large number of injuries have been reported inside Abu Humaysa schools, which shelter displaced persons, as a result if IOF airstrikes targeting Al-Rahman Mosque in Al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip.

🚨 Confrontations have broken out between resistant youth and occupation forces in the Safa area in Beit Ummar, north of #AlKhalil.

This absence comes in light of the expected resignation of both ministers from the same "National Unity" party from the war government, following the expiry of the June 8th deadline set by Gantz.

This follows the resignation of Gideon Saar's party from the government at the end of March.

This series of resignations comes moments after the head of the Gaza Division of the IOF resigned from his position today, stating that he "failed in his life mission of protecting the Gaza envelope." Notably, the Gaza Division was overrun by the resistance in less than one hour on the glorious October 7th. This resignation follows the resignations of the head of IOF's Central Command, Yehuda Fox, and the head of the IOF's Intelligence Division, Aharon Haliva.
