On the fourth anniversary of the passing of Dr. Ramadan Shallah, former Secretary-General of PIJ:
"We will remain on this land, and your artificial entity will disappear."
(1/2)
—
Today, on the anniversary of his passing, we remember the man who ordered the first bombing of the settlement of "Tel Aviv" by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza on November 15th, 2012, with PIJ's Fajr-5 rockets.
A principled visionary, Dr. Ramadan Shallah, Abu Abdullah, was the second Secretary-General of PIJ, preceded by his scholarly comrade from university, Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi, and succeeded by Commander Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh. He served in this capacity for 23 years, at a time when PIJ carried out some of its fiercest operations. His leadership began after the zionist entity assassinated Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi in Malta in revenge for the historic Beit Lid double martyrdom operation.
Abu Abdullah, Dr. Ramadan, was a multifaceted man. In college, Dr. Shaqaqi studied medicine and Dr. Ramadan economics. He was interested in culture and history. His PhD in banking landed him a position as an economics professor at the University of South Florida. He had had enough after two years, returning in 1995 to Syria and then Palestine to lead the formidable PIJ, reconnecting with his old friend Dr. Shaqaqi.

On the fourth anniversary of the passing of Dr. Ramadan Shallah, former Secretary-General of PIJ (2/2):
—
Dr. Ramadan believed in comprehensive resistance to not only the occupation, but its allies and supporters as well. A learned man, like Dr. Shaqaqi, Dr. Ramadan found himself creating controversial discussions in order to advance resistance and raise consciousness. He greatly expanded resistance in the West Bank and significantly improved PIJ's relationship with the Axis of Resistance, maintaining communication with all resistance forces in the region, knowing that the battle of liberation requires the joint effort of all resisting forces.
His relationship with Imad Mughniyeh was a special one, being one of the few who truly knew the "untraceable ghost." They discussed politics and resistance, but also music and films. In fact, it was Dr. Ramadan that named the historic Hezbollah kidnapping operation of IOF soldiers in July 2006 "True Promise," cementing in the collective consciousness of the region a new culture of resistance leadership that stood by their word.
His friendships were many. He worked closely with Abu Tariq, Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh, to significantly improve PIJ's military infrastructure. The two complemented each other, with Abu Tariq translating Dr. Ramadan's intellect into military might on the ground. In September 2018, Dr. Ramadan suffered from a heart attack followed by strokes that put him in a coma until his passing on this day three years ago. Abu Tariq succeeded him in leadership, never forgetting his immortal words: "Our rifles only see Al-Quds through their sights."
Glory to the revolutionary intellectual leader, Dr. Ramadan Shallah.

A translated excerpt from "Ramadan Abdullah: The Intellectual Leader and the Pragmatic Fighter," published in Al-Akhbar on June 8th, 2020 by Ibrahim Al-Amin:
—
Conversations with Dr. Ramadan [Shallah] have their own rituals and open-ended time. He was always ready for discussion and emphasized direct communication, which often went beyond hot political events. He was interested in keeping up with the news, activities, and productions of Palestinian and Arab intellectuals around the world. He had a special connection with the late Mahmoud Darwish and Edward Said. Dr. Ramadan knew that they secretly visited Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah after the 2000 liberation. He followed their symbolic discussions about the idea that "the impossible"—the liberation of Palestine—had become possible "even if after a generation," phrases found in texts not explained to the public. He remained deeply impressed by Sayyed Nasrallah and his presentation of the idea of resistance and his defense of the inevitability of "israel's" removal. In fact, Dr. Ramadan used to repeat to most of those who worked with him and accompanied him what the martyr Fathi Shaqaqi said about Sayyed Nasrallah, after he assumed the position of Secretary-General following the martyr Sayyed Abbas Musawi, that "this young leader is the Khomeini of the Arabs!"
Dr. Ramadan had a special relationship with the late martyr Imad Mughniyeh. He was likely one of the few who knew the true identity of Hajj Radwan before his martyrdom. They were in constant communication. After the liberation in 2000, the martyr Radwan took him to the South [Lebanon] and walked with him directly on the border with Palestine. He opened the door for him to a phase of preparation to cross into Palestine. They later collaborated on introducing a group of Jihad elements to carry out an operation in the settlements of northern occupied Palestine.
Their relationship went beyond consulting on the political, military, and security dimensions of the struggle with the enemy. They watched movies and listened to anthems together and talked about many things. A day before the July 12, 2006 operation, "Hajj" was in Damascus. He visited Dr. Ramadan and decided to leave at night, but the latter invited him to stay until the next day. However, Radwan insisted on returning. He did not tell him anything. The next day, when the operation took place, and the soldiers were captured, the two men communicated again. On that day, Dr. Ramadan suggested to "Hajj" to name the operation "The True Promise," saying that it was "the least loyalty to Sayyed Hassan, who introduced a new culture to the generation of leaders, as he never broke a promise."

As part of the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood:
Our fighters in the Nablus Brigade, at dawn today, Friday, June 7, 2024, directly confronted the occupation forces storming the city, in the western and central regions. The confrontation occurred on multiple fronts, concentrated around Al-Ain camp, the vicinity of the old city, and beside the Gamal Abdel Nasser Park. The occupation forces fell into a well prepared ambush during their withdrawal in the Fatimiya and Ras Al-Ain areas, where they were targeted with blessed barrages of bullets.
Additionally, our fighters detonated several explosive devices in the occupation's vehicles.
Our weapons remain active and increasingly fierce.
It is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.

The leadership of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement has received the explanatory memorandum from the leadership of Hamas regarding developments in indirect negotiations with the zionist enemy, particularly the initiative announced by U.S. President Biden. After reviewing the contents of this initiative, which he referred to as "the zionist paper," it was found to lack an explicit text for a permanent ceasefire.
Therefore, we in the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement reaffirm the principles of resistance to end the war, which include a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of enemy forces from the Gaza Strip, the return of displaced persons, urgent relief for our people, achieving a serious and honorable deal for prisoners, and the complete lifting of the unjust siege on the Gaza Strip.
