🚨 Since last night until this morning, Thursday, the IOF have launched a wide-ranging arrest campaign that targeted at least 60 Palestinians from the West Bank.

The Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a joint statement that this arrest campaign is the largest in the West Bank since the beginning of this year. They added that among those arrested in this campaign was student Amal Shuja'iya, a journalism and media student at Birzeit University, the mother of the wanted Tariq Dawoud from Qalqilya, in addition to former prisoners who have been arrested several times.

The arrests were concentrated in #Qalqilya governorate (at least 26 citizens), and #AlQuds Governorate, which witnessed wide-scale arrests yesterday as part of the aggression launched by settlers under the so-called "Flag March," while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of #Ramallah, #Nablus, and #AlKhalil.

This brings the total number of arrests since October 7 to more than 9,100, including those arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those forced to surrender under pressure, and those held as hostages.

The data related to the cases of arrests include those whom the occupation kept in detention and those who were later released.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of operations against the sites and deployment of the "israeli" enemy army along the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Thursday, 06-06-2024, as follows:

Eastern Sector:

1. Targeted the "Ramtha" site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with rocket weapons, achieving direct hits.
2. Launched anti-aircraft missiles at the enemy's warplanes that were attacking our skies and breaking the sound barrier in an attempt to terrify children, forcing them to retreat behind the borders.
3. At 18:05, targeted the newly established espionage equipment at the "Metulla" site with appropriate weapons, hitting and destroying them directly.
4. Targeting the "Zebdine" barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with a rocket barrage, in response to the "israeli" enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes
5. Targeted the Baghdadi site with heavy Burkan missiles, achieving a direct hit and confirmed hits, in response to the assassination carried out by the "israeli" enemy this morning in Aitaroun.

Western sector:

1. Targeted the headquarters of the 91st Division in the “Branit” barracks and the positions of soldiers in its vicinity with Falaq-1 missiles, hitting it directly, leading to the destruction of parts of it and confirmed losses, as part of the response to the enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and safe homes, most recently in Aitaroun.
2. At 15:25, targeted the espionage equipment at the “Raheb” site with appropriate weapons, hitting it directly and destroying it.
3. At 23:15, targeted a deployment of “israeli” enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the “Zarit” barracks with artillery shells, hitting it directly.

The "israeli" occupation army committed a cowardly assassination of the mayor of Nusseirat, Dr. Iyad Ahmed Al-Maghari, along with a group of citizens, by bombing them directly from occupation aircraft in Nuseirat camp in central Gaza Strip. This massacre constitutes a war crime in violation of international laws that grant immunity and protection to civilian figures. This crime is another episode in the series of crimes committed by the occupation against our Palestinian people, targeting all sectors deliberately and premeditatedly.

We mourn the martyr Dr. Al-Maghari, who was a dedicated service official committed to his national duty, providing continuous service to the residents of Nusseirat refugee camp in the central governorate throughout the days of the genocide war. He was sincere and devoted in his work and service to his people and homeland. This crime follows previous crimes committed by the occupation against municipalities and their heads, including the assassination of the mayor of Al-Zahraa, Mr. Marwan Hamad, and the mayor of Al-Maghazi, Mr. Hatem Al-Ghamri, and today the assassination of the mayor of Nusseirat, Dr. Iyad Al-Maghari. Additionally, the occupation targeted, bombed, and destroyed the headquarters of the municipalities of Al-Zuweida, Al-Zahraa, Gaza, Khan Younis, Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia, and others. The assassinated mayors were exemplary in their relentless and continuous service work.

The cowardly assassination of the mayor of Nusseirat is part of the genocide war committed by the "israeli" occupation against civilians in the Gaza Strip. It indicates the state of confusion and failure experienced by the occupation leaders, particularly in their deliberate and focused targeting of civilians. The occupation aims to create chaos, increase the humanitarian crisis, and hinder the provision of municipal services to citizens and displaced persons.

We strongly condemn and denounce the "israeli" occupation army's assassination of the mayor of Nusseirat and call on all municipalities worldwide to condemn this heinous crime, which reflects the level of criminality and degradation reached by this cowardly occupation.

We hold the "israeli" occupation and the American administration fully responsible for this heinous crime, which indicates the depth of the crisis experienced by the occupation and the Americans, reaching this stage of killing.

We call on all free countries of the world to pursue the "israeli" occupation in international courts and forums for its heinous crimes against humanity and to pressure it to stop this ongoing genocide, which has continued for eight consecutive months.

🟢 Hamas sent a letter to the Palestinian factions and Arab parties regarding the ongoing ceasefire negotiations, obtained by Quds Network and translated by RNN.

In the message, Hamas stated that, in agreement with the resistance factions, it has always shown flexibility and positivity towards the efforts of mediators throughout all previous rounds of negotiations, according to Quds Network.

This culminated in the announcement of the acceptance of the mediators' proposal on May 6th, when the movement found that the proposal included the necessary foundations and aligned with the logic of permanently ending the war, responding to our people's demands, including a permanent cessation of aggression and fire, a complete withdrawal from the Strip, the return of displaced persons, the flow of humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and a serious prisoner exchange deal.

"The occupation rejected the mediators' proposal and responded with blatant aggression on Rafah and the occupation of the crossing. They committed many massacres and burned the tents of the displaced along with their occupants, and continued the starvation war, which is a systematic policy to exterminate the Palestinian people. All of this led to the obstruction of the mediators' efforts."

"When President Biden made his statements, the movement announced its welcome of what he said because it provided the necessary foundations to reach an agreement that achieves a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army from the Strip, the flow of large amounts of aid, the return of the displaced, reconstruction, and prisoner exchange. The movement did not hesitate to announce its positive stance immediately towards these statements as they are in line with the May 6th paper and contain the required foundations, the most important of which is a permanent ceasefire and complete withdrawal from the Strip."

"When the movement reviewed the content of the proposal mentioned by President Biden, which he said was the "israeli" proposal, it found it devoid of the positive foundations mentioned in Biden's statements. There is a difference between what is in the paper and what Biden said, causing a lot of confusion and debate. Is what Biden spoke about his personal interpretation of the paper, or are they verbal agreements with "israeli" parties, or something else?"

"After reviewing the content of the "israeli" proposal, it was found that it does not set the correct foundations for the required agreement. It does not guarantee a permanent ceasefire but only a temporary one. It does not closely link the three phases stipulated, but on the contrary, it has dismantled the bridges that transition the agreement from one phase to another, aiming to disrupt the unity of the agreement in all its stages, reducing it to a single phase where the aggression stops temporarily, while their forces remain on the ground of the Strip. In exchange, the occupation obtains the segment of prisoners that concerns them, then resumes the genocide war against our people."

In its letter, Hamas and the resistance factions adhered to the correct foundations for reaching an agreement and expressed their readiness to agree to any agreement that includes those foundations, which are fundamental principles, "for there is no meaning to any agreement that does not explicitly stipulate a permanent ceasefire, and there is no meaning to an agreement that allows occupation forces to remain on our land and only achieves what the occupation wants in terms of releasing their prisoners while continuing the genocide and starvation war against our people."

In the letter, Hamas noted its awareness of the risks of a Security Council resolution being issued before an agreement is reached between the parties, in addition to the preemption of this with a draft resolution aimed at pressuring the movement and Palestinian factions.

Today, on the anniversary of his passing, we remember the man who ordered the first bombing of the settlement of "Tel Aviv" by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza on November 15th, 2012, with PIJ's Fajr-5 rockets.

A principled visionary, Dr. Ramadan Shallah, Abu Abdullah, was the second Secretary-General of PIJ, preceded by his scholarly comrade from university, Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi, and succeeded by Commander Ziyad Al-Nakhaleh. He served in this capacity for 23 years, at a time when PIJ carried out some of its fiercest operations. His leadership began after the zionist entity assassinated Dr. Fathi Shaqaqi in Malta in revenge for the historic Beit Lid double martyrdom operation.

Abu Abdullah, Dr. Ramadan, was a multifaceted man. In college, Dr. Shaqaqi studied medicine and Dr. Ramadan economics. He was interested in culture and history. His PhD in banking landed him a position as an economics professor at the University of South Florida. He had had enough after two years, returning in 1995 to Syria and then Palestine to lead the formidable PIJ, reconnecting with his old friend Dr. Shaqaqi.
