This year's International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression comes as the zionist aggression against our Palestinian people continues in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied Al-Quds, ongoing for more than seven months. During this period, this fascist entity has committed the most heinous crimes and horrific massacres against the Palestinian people, especially innocent children who have been and continue to be direct targets of this Nazi entity's terrorism and criminality.

According to UN reports, a child is injured or killed every 10 minutes in Gaza. Additionally, the number of our people's child martyrs who have ascended during the ongoing zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, estimated at more than 14,000 martyrs, exceeds the recorded number over four years of global conflicts.

In the prisons of the fascist occupation, more than 200 Palestinian children, most of them school students, are subjected to the most brutal punitive and vengeful policies, including more than 20 children from the Gaza Strip. They suffer from various forms of beatings, harsh interrogations, physical and psychological torture, daily mistreatment, deliberate medical negligence, and are denied visits from family, healthcare teams, and human rights and humanitarian organizations.

We, in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in light of the continuing crimes and violations of the zionist occupation, and on the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, affirm the following:

First: The United Nations and the international community's annual observance of this day should remind them of the suffering and pain of Palestinian children, both within Palestine and in refugee camps and the diaspora. It should place a legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibility on them to put an end to the ongoing severe violations and horrific crimes committed by the zionist occupation against Palestinian children.

Second: We call on the United Nations to include the zionist occupation in its blacklist of entities that target children with killing, torture, displacement, and deprivation of basic rights to a normal life, which the occupation continues to practice daily against innocent childhood in Gaza, the West Bank, Al-Quds, and the occupied interior.

Third: We call on the international community, countries, governments, and organizations concerned with children's rights to assume their political and humanitarian responsibilities towards Palestinian children, to work for the release of those detained in the occupation's prisons, and to move to save and protect them from its brutality and sadism, to stop and criminalize its aggression and crimes against our people and children, and to support their legitimate rights to freedom and dignified living.

Fourth: The continued silence, inaction, and international inability to criminalize the occupation's violations and escalating aggression against children in Palestine, and the failure to use all means to prosecute and hold accountable the perpetrators of these crimes, represent a disgrace on the forehead of this world, which fails to put an end to the crimes of this Nazi occupation against our Palestinian people.

Journalist Ismail Ghoul was describing the situation in an uninhabitable and completely destroyed area after the recent withdrawal of zionist forces.

As soon as he starts speaking, an IOF strike targets a building and many more follow.

A child says: "They bombed us! we were just gathering cans. We weren't doing anything! We came here to eat!"

Ismail says that the IOF always launch airstrikes and artillery targeting civilians when they are withdrawing from an area.

At 1:03, Ismail explains that he and the team of journalists with him are attempting to document the amount of destruction but IOF airstrikes and vehicles are preventing journalistic work in this area.

At 1:32 Ismail says: "Wherever we go, [IOF] warplanes launch airstrikes and vehicles target the entourage of our location. We were present in the vicinity of the University College, that was subjected to a complete destruction of residential blocks. These blocks are now completely destroyed sadly. This place is not inhabitable in any way."
