In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“Among the believers are men true to their covenant with Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow (to death), and among them is he who awaits. And they did not alter (the terms of their commitment) by any alteration.”
With great pride, Saraya Al-Quds – Areeha Brigade, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, honors the martyred commander Thaer Khaled Awaidat Moqaiti (28 years old), the founder of the Aqabat Jaber Battalion, who was martyred in an armed clash accompanied by a group of fighters of the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades as they pushed back zionist occupation forces that stormed the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp.
The ascendence of the martyred leader Thaer Awaidat and his heroic comrades in a fierce confrontation is an extension of the confrontation with the criminal occupation in all fields and a confirmation of the continuation of the choice of jihad and resistance.
The heroic martyr Thaer and his comrades took upon themselves the wills of their brothers who preceded them to Heaven, and who ignited the fire of confrontation with the occupier, led by the martyred commander Jamil Al-Amouri, the renewer of the clash and founder of the Jenin Brigade, so that our victorious brigades became the occupation’s fear, from Jenin to Nablus, Tubas, Tulkarm, Balata, Al-Khalil, and even Areeha.
We in Saraya Al-Quds affirm that the blood of the pure martyrs who annihilated the occupation will remain a fuel for more violence and confrontation, and will turn into a curse that haunts the occupation and the herds of settlers until it is defeated from our land, Palestine.
All salutations to our steadfast and patient people in Areeha and on our valiant shore. Mercy for the martyrs, healing for the wounded, and freedom for the brave prisoners.
Our weapons are legitimate and our jihad continues in all arenas.
It is a struggle of victory or martyrdom.

Over 90 bullets were fired at their car that day, in an unforgettable scene of zionist brutality and cowardice.
It was later revealed that they were founding members of the Lions’ Den and were instrumental during its infancy. Sons of the Old City of Nablus, they grew up in the footsteps of the martyrs, carrying out operation after operation and defending every invasion of the camp. They were a nightmare for the enemy.
Their martyrdom set fire to the land underneath the feet of the zionist occupiers across all of Palestine. A nation and a people rose in honor of its martyrs; thousands committed their lives to our righteous cause by picking up the rifle and pointing it towards the enemy, and did so following in the footsteps of those before them, to victory or martyrdom.
In the words of the martyr Basil Al-Araj, "Either we resist or we wait for annihilation."
