Haniyeh Calls for an Arab Stance to Seize the Opportunity Provided by the Al-Aqsa Flood

Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, called for an Arab stance and collective action to seize the strategic opportunity provided by Al-Aqsa Flood to mobilize the Arab situation against the fascist zionist enemy, embrace and participate in the Palestinian people's resistance, and counter the policy of normalization.

In his speech at the Arab National Conference, Haniyeh called for a comprehensive action plan in all areas related to the ongoing struggle, based on the concept that the period after October 7 is different from before.

Brother fighter Ismail Haniyeh praised the role of the Arab parties and forces participating in the Arab National Security Conference, their support for Gaza and the resistance, and their protection of the Palestinian cause, which he considered the cornerstone of joint Arab action.

In his speech at the conference held in Beirut, the head of the movement emphasized that Al-Aqsa Flood has elevated the Palestinian cause to an unprecedented global level, opening the door to the recognition of the Palestinian people's rights, especially their right to a state on their land. He noted that all diplomatic and political efforts, which lacked elements of strength, had failed in this regard. The Flood dealt a blow to the strategic value of the entity as a regional police and deprived it of its deterrence capability it used to boast about. The entity also lost global public opinion, as the intellectual terrorism practiced through so-called anti-Semitism laws failed to stifle the global mass support for Palestinian rights.

Haniyeh stated that the entity failed to achieve its goals, such as displacement, eradicating the resistance, and reclaiming its captives by force, all due to the valiant resistance and legendary steadfastness of our people, the unity of resistance fronts, and the integrated efforts at the Arab elite level.

He addressed those speaking about the day after the battle, saying they will choke on their illusions and will not find anyone among our people who accepts an alternative to resistance. The aspirations of those lurking against the resistance and the fighters will fail, their illusions will dissipate, and they will never see the light as long as our people and nation remain steadfast and eternal.

Regarding the alleged new zionist stance on a prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire, the head of the movement reiterated that the resistance informed the mediators that the established principles of the resistance factions' stance remain non-negotiable. These include the permanent cessation of aggression, the complete withdrawal of the occupation army from Gaza, the lifting of the siege, reconstruction, and an honorable prisoner exchange deal. All these are steps toward achieving the rights and aspirations of our Palestinian people for freedom, return, and independence.

Haniyeh called for investing in these sacrifices and significant changes for our cause's benefit and moving forward toward achieving the project of liberation and return, which requires national unity based on three pillars: forming a unified national leadership within the framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization for all forces, forming a national unity government in the West Bank and Gaza with an agreed national reference, and conducting general presidential, legislative, and Palestinian National Council elections.
