In light of the horrific massacre committed by occupation forces in Rafah this Sunday evening, which resulted in 35 martyrs and dozens of injured, most of whom are women and children, the Ministry of Health affirms that never before in history has such a large assembly of tools for mass killing been employed collectively before the eyes of the world as is happening now in Gaza.

The population is being deprived of water, food, medicine, electricity, and fuel, with infrastructure being crushed, all institutions destroyed, sanitation disrupted, epidemics spreading, the healthcare system obliterated, the siege tightened, crossings closed, and the entry of supplies and medical delegations prevented.

Patients are being barred from traveling abroad for treatment, the deadliest weapons are being used against unarmed civilians, humanitarian crews and ambulance teams are being targeted, rescue equipment is being blocked, the wounded are being prevented from being evacuated, mass killings are being committed, and residents are being forcibly displaced multiple times, with their homes then destroyed along with all their possessions, leaving them without shelter or any safe place.

🚨 Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza:

We responded to the distress calls from citizens in the northern shelters area west of Rafah Governorate, which is one of the humanitarian zones to which the "israeli" occupation forcibly displaced citizens, blatantly disregarding the decisions of the International Criminal Court.

Our teams have retrieved approximately 50 between martyrs and injured individuals, aside from those transported by the Health, Red Crescent, and medical services teams. We extinguished a fire with the participation of all civil defense vehicles in Rafah Governorate.

The targeting of this area by the occupation adds to the genocidal crimes that the "israeli" occupation is carrying out against the civilian population in Gaza, in clear violation of all international norms.

We hold the "israeli" occupation fully responsible for the massacre, as well as the United States of America, which supports the occupation with the weapons used to kill the Palestinian people and were used in the Rafah massacre today, contributing to the increase in human losses and the number of martyrs in the Strip.

The attacks and massacres in Rafah Governorate continue despite the rising number of martyrs and the significant shortage of resources and capabilities within the humanitarian work system in Rafah Governorate, and the destruction of civilian objects in violation of all international laws.

We hold the United Nations agencies fully responsible for the cessation of humanitarian work due to the lack of fuel and necessary humanitarian work supplies for civil defense, even though they are active in wars and contribute to providing logistical support to local humanitarian intervention agencies. We have formally contacted them to supply us with fuel, but they align with the occupation by not providing us with the necessary humanitarian supplies and fuel.

In conclusion, we emphasize the following:

Firstly: We demand the UN Secretary-General, the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Red Crescent, and the President of the International Committee for Civil Protection and Civil Defense to urgently intervene to compel the United Nations to supply us with our humanitarian needs to complete the emergency interventions.

Secondly: We demand the President of the International Criminal Court to take swift steps to stop the genocidal massacres against civilian objects in Gaza and stop the genocide war.

Thirdly: We call on Arab countries to break the unjust siege on the humanitarian work system and urgently supply us with our logistical needs.

Fourthly: We urge the free peoples of the world, especially students in American and Western universities, to move immediately to support and assist the humanitarian work system as one of the essential pillars in urgent response efforts.

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out several operations against the sites and deployments of the "israeli" enemy army at the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Sunday, 26-05-2024, as follows:

- Eastern sector:

1. At 08:30, targeted the technical systems at the Al-Abad site with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit and destroying them. ‏
2. At 15:20, targeted a building used by “israeli” enemy soldiers in the “Snir” settlement with appropriate weapons, achieving a direct hit, in response to the enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, especially Aitaroun.
3. At 15:30, targeted the “Zebdine” site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with rocket weapons, achieving a direct hit.
4. At 15:30, targeted the “Ramtha” site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with rocket weapons, achieving a direct hit.
5. At 18:00, targeted the headquarters of the “Habushit” Barracks brigade with a salvo of rockets.
6. At 18:20, targeted the settlement of “Kiryat Shmona” was targeted with a barrage of Falaq and Katyusha rockets, in response to the “israeli” enemy’s attacks on the steadfast southern villages, the most recent of which was Houla town square and the people in it.
7. At 18:25, targeted the “Yiftah” barracks with dozens of Katyusha rockets.

- Western Sector:

1. At 13:50, targeted "Al-Malikiyah" site, and gathering of enemy soldiers in its vicinity with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits.
2. At 15:00, launched an intense fire attack with rockets and artillery shells, targeting the Jal Al-Alam site and the deployment of enemy soldiers around it. They achieved direct hits and inflicted confirmed losses on them, in response to the assassination carried out by the "israeli" enemy in the town of Naqoura and the injury of civilians.
3. Targeted a building used by enemy soldiers in the "Avivim" settlement. They also targeted buildings used by soldiers in the "Margaliot" settlement with appropriate weapons, achieving direct hits, in response to the zionist enemy’s attack on the town of Aita Al-Shaab and the martyrdom of civilians.
4. At 15:20, targeted the battalion command headquarters in the "Liman" barracks with rocket launchers, in response to the assassination carried out by the zionist enemy in the town of Naqoura and the injury of civilians.
5. Targeted the "Khirbet Maar" base and its artillery positions and the deployments of enemy soldiers around it with dozens of Katyusha rockets, achieving confirmed hits.
6. Targeted the newly installed surveillance equipment at the Al-Rahib site with appropriate weapons, hitting it directly, which led to its destruction.
